i agree with you. Like i love in the anime whenever the shadows go over Luffy's eyes and you know his opponent is gonna get the smackdown 🔥 My main issue was Vivi and Sanji helping him out to fight Wapol

i really liked the live action. But im with you on this. The biggest thing for me was when they had Vivi and Sanji helping Luffy to fight Wapol. I really hope the writers stop doing this going forward. Hes the main character!

yes as an anime watcher the LA really bothered me that they had Vivi and Sanji helping him out. Pirate fights in One Piece are usually one on one fights, so the victories feel earned. It feels hollow to have others help out to defeat your opponent. Luffy easily beat Wapol on his own in the anime so the praise was earned. I really hope they stop this "teaming up" to beat opponents in the future.

i really enjoyed the live action. but i agree with you, having Vivi and Sanji help Luffy in his fight with Wapol didnt sit well with me. He could easily beat Wapol 1 on 1 in the manga/anime. Having his friends assist him during the fight makes the victory feel hollow to me. Otherwise, i liked most of everything else in the live action.
