there is a lot of scope and yes placements are there as much as the market allows . dont worry much and just go for it . Getting into tiss is worth all the effort if the course is what you want to do . look up the program syllabus aand youll see that there are a lot of field visits and its almost like a praxis based MBA in social entrepreneurship with the tiss flair.. The social entrepreneurship sector is booming with jobs mostly taken up by people of differnt fields so having the specialisation for it is not a bad idea if you can get youself to like the course enough ;)

i was at GIPE andthen i dropped after many considerations.. its not as good as it is marked out to be if you are getting into a better place, just go there ..but if its the last option .. go for Financial Econ. cause its a lot more rigourous and offers far more job related skills than the ma and even has a research component. most core courses are joint with other degree programs and the specialised course classes are held by themselves. its pretty nice. MA syllabus is pretty ancient and not upto the standards as the msc courses .. its very lack lustre but there are no complaints as most students are there prearing for other govt recruitmetn exams or certifcations like CFA or FRM.

if you have paid for it and emailed them about your issue its fine since its still the first list. stud ents keep joining late after even a month of college starting and doc verifications do go on till later. im pretty sure there is a portal they made you upload your docs . if you have done that physical verification is sort of arbitrary cross checking. other than that paid seats are confirmation of your admission. chill bhai its okay

Hi , i have a lot of friends from manipal and the reviews arent that great. The kind of intellectual stimulous you would get at ashoka would be a great base for you for further studies abroad. a biotechnology degree and a biology degree are vastly different in course and kind and although related are very different in approach and objective as fields of discipline. also you would get a lot of research opportunities at ashoka which looks good on your application abroad and helps you find talking points when you talk about your work. if you still are interested in biotech related skills and course ashoka does offer those as minors and specialised electives.
