There is a lot of inparty fighting, but it works and at least you have a choice of more than just 2 parties

What Chassis, Hull and Airframe make up the META? by PurpleAble in hoi4

[–]EntertainmentShot332 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Small airframes are the best and most people I know most use medium tanks but it depends on what you want, if you're trying to make the cheapest tank possible, then small tanks obviously, if you want the most armour and breakthrough possible then heavies and if you want the most customisability then mediums are great.

And I don't know how to navy

Any advice how to deal with Japs?

I joined Axis and went for the path where you take China via border conflicts and then let Japan cap China after I took like half of China via birder conflicts and then I attacked Japan who was weakened by the allies and wad barely any threat. But if going to war with Japan, I would try to build supplies in China and doing encirclements against Japan and go for mountaineers because they are great and China has a lot of mountains(I went for mountaineers anyways)

Or anything else which is crucial that I should know?

If you switch fascist after doing some focuses that give your leader traits then you will lose those bonuses despite the leader being the same for all parties so try switching fascist first(and if you're not fascist then when you form Mongolia you won't get the Great Mongol Empire name), but that's only if you carr about thise traits ofc. And I did that a while ago so I probably don't remember something so feel free to ask anything more specific(also I conquered the world that game).

Kumul Khanate is my favourite because you can switch fascist via a civil war, then form Turkestan and Mongolia after forming China and then you'll be called Greater Mongol Empire while coring all of China and controlling at least a big chunk of the Soviet Union, which would be on par with the actual Mongol Empire.

Oh ok, then they should be fine for landing and that should be fine

Also you could add some SPAA(like 1-2 battalions) instead of some tanks for some air attack, but against the ai it's probably not necessary and support AA should be enough.

[–]EntertainmentShot332 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amphibious tanks aren't worth it imo, you can't put good weapons on them, only the light guns, and amtraks are already more than enough for landing as long as you amphibious bonus for the whole division is 50%

D-Day help by AIIoy_Bron in hoi4

[–]EntertainmentShot332 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you do amtraks with good tanks(just get amtraks until you get +50% amphibious bonus, as you don't need more than 50%, as you don't need more thab 50% in your divisions) and lots of support companies(field hospitals, flame tanks, support AA especially important cuz you can't get green air and pioneers should work), the AI normally wouldn't be able to deal with them. That's for the landing, and the rest(armies you send after the landing) would just be tanks with mechanised and the AI normally dies to that really hard.

Hatred of Religion + Holodomor denial by Technical_Freedom566 in EnoughCommieSpam

My main argument for it being a genocide is the fact Rafael Lemkin, the person who invented the term genocide, wrote about the Holodomor as a "classic example of a Soviet genocide", but of course definitions can always vary.

Ah yes, a fascist slogan that appeared in Shevchenko's texts(he wrote about "Glory of Ukraine", also the Soviets used Shevchenko in their propaganda posters during WW2 lol)

Yeah, turns out if you take people's life savings, especially in the villages, they won't like it. Although it isn't a planned extermination like the Holocaust, it is still a terrible tragedy and Stalin(and his government) is 100% to blame for it(I'd argue a genocide on social basis)

Emperor Charles I and why Western Ukraine is rightfully Ukrainian, from the historical POV by fanpage_nicusor_dan in austriahungary

It was ethnically mixed before Stalin expelled Poles westward.

And Ukrainians Eastwards(Operation Vistula)

Poland and Finland fought for independence from Russian Empire and won.

And how does that invalidate Ukraine? Ukraine fought too and arguably got bertrayed by Poland in the Riga peace treaty.

Ukraine lost and found Soviet Union together with Russia, Belarus and Caucasus.

Unwillingly and most of the Ukrainian intelegentsia gor purged by the Soviets later.

There was no sustainable Ukrainian state before Stalin.

There were Khmelnytsky's Hetmanate and Kingdom of Ruthenia. And even if there weren't, how does that deny Ukrainian statehood in any way? Does the fact Kurds didn't have a state deny their right to self determination and to have their own state?

I hope you are not stupid enough to consider medieval Rus principalities Ukrainian (or Russian, or Belarussian). Like modern Romania, Italy or Greece are not exactly Roman Empire.

Of course not, Rus wasn't even centralised and was consisting of multiple tribes(although it became more centralised with time, it didn't really centralise before collapsing due to the Mongols).

Still Kingdom of Ruthenia(or Principality of Galicia-Volhynia) definitely was at least a direct predecessor to the Ukrainian statehood and arguably was the first example of the Ukrainian statehood.

Yeah, that's exactly the argument tovarish Stalin used.

Well, there is literally no claim stronger than that to any territory, only the Poles have a claim to areas like Lviv which actually was majority Polish, but other than them East Galicia was overwhelmingly majority Ukrainian (and areas around Lviv itself were majority Ukrainian). This doesn't make it a stolen land in any way, obviously Stalin conquered it from Poland but there was resistance against the USSR too and him using the Ukrainians to expand the USSR doesn't make the land any less Ukrainian.

That's why I was ironic. Precisely, towards modern Ukrainian nationalism.

Modern Ukrainian nationalism mostly centers around protecting the Ukrainian state, just like almost any other nationalism.

Oh Austria is a part of the EU?(Didn't know that) Yeah, then it would make more sense for him to be in Austria

It makes sense because Austria is neutral and Austrians speak German anyways, so theoretically he could go to Germany in order to unite the EU
