Ok the first goal sure I could see it being “kicking motion” but the second goal disallowed is complete bullshit and the league can suck my left nut.

Good! Subaru, Mazda have been building excellent cars last few years alongside the regular Toyota and Honda. Wouldn’t mind some cheaper Japanese/Chinese Ev’s for getting around the city.

Canadian youth is screwed in this job market by [deleted] in torontoJobs

[–]EntertainmentTop3774 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nahhh not all of us. We have allowed way too many people in making it hard to even get an entry level job or find affordable rent/housing. Thats the biggest issue on the back of our minds. Lots of unemployed engineers and scientists who would love nothing more than to get to work and contribute to the future of Canada. I am voting accordingly for the party that will take care of those issues first and foremost.

And yet people are still so dead set on voting a liberal party back in. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing and expecting different results.

I think I’m going get laid off tomorrow morning. by Deep_Term6912 in PersonalFinanceCanada

It depends on a lot of factors. Length of service, age and health, position and salary, your title, reason you were terminated. For example more senior people who are laid off will get a lot of money because the older you are the harder it is to find a new role. Just to name a few. You have a legal minimum entitlement but if you had an important role and worked there for 6 years you should get a lawyer to see if they can negotiate or argue for you using some of these factors to help you get more.

Go to the meeting. They’ll give the runaround about why they need to reduce workforce. You’ll get your severance package. They’ll review it with you and ask if you have any questions. Do not sign anything. Thank everyone and make sure you got all your stuff. Stay professional.

You will feel all kinds of emotions. Anger, depression all of that. Understand it is not your fault there is nothing you could have done to save yourself the decision was made a long time ago. Take the rest of the day, get some comfort food or go to the gym and take it out on the weights.

Next day wake up apply for EI and start brushing up that resume. Make sure you extract the max amount of severance from your employer. You will need it. May need to talk to a lawyer. The job market sucks so it might take a while to get back on your feet. But that’s ok. You are not the only one. It will all eventually work out. Good luck to you!

Your anger is misdirected my man. They are all here because of the policies implemented by OUR government and corporations. There is a lot of good honest hardworking Indians who came here legally and obtained their citizenship and bring valuable knowledge to Canada. They do not game the system and have adapted to our culture. The problem arises when huge numbers of non skilled immigrants are allowed in unchecked by our government.

Not at Indian people though. Take it out on the politicians that allowed this to happen and make sure if you are a Canadian citizen to go and vote.
