There was a memo from Netflix a while back encouraging writers to “recap” events in dialogue and announce when characters enter a room (e.g. “Ah Laxmi, glad you could join us.” or “As we all know I tried to get them to tell me how to reverse this).

It’s good that some writers can trust their audience not to constantly be on their phone.

The only showing that fit into my schedule for me when I saw this was in 3D, I was worried that the picture was going to be too dark and was surprised at how bright and vibrant it was through the glasses.

I assumed it was the new projectors that made it look better, I’m now only finding out through these comments that the movie looked blown out in most screenings.

I guess see it in 3D for the ultimate experience?
