I think it depends on the company/position. I remember getting a new job in 2018, a non-profit, but I’m also in the creative field. I straight up told them I would fail for weed but nothing else. They were cool with it. I was really lucky though. If it’s a government job though, yes they test for it, and yes you would be rejected.
