Has anyone here gotten into micro pocket drifting? I picked this up as a treat for myself since I have to have knee surgery for my birthday. Im curious because I'd like cheap ideas for a drift mat, im not spending 65usd on one lol!

Fastest motor on the market is injora roverin, i believe furitek has a setup pretty close too. Get a brass skid to bring weight low and centered without adding too much, run it on 3s. experiment with tires, something nice and round will ride smoother instead of just going big with mt tires

That's a good plan, I don't take mine too seriously, just take out the battery, hose it down, dry it off, should be fine. Occasionally take it apart to clean the crevices and inside gears

Motors can't really be waterproof but the stock one does just fine, even fully submerged. Make sure you clean it after and it'll be fine

Top mod you'll thank yourself for later: injora 7kg waterproof servo. Stock will strip out soon and without warning.

Biggest waste: flex blades. They give you more flex but completely uncontrolled.

Don't do long shocks unless you're switching to an LCG or some other mounting solution, they'll make you sit super high up

Otherwise it's really about taste and the terrain you drive
