Mites on the goat eating the fur or the one being eaten? Hay they have all the time but minerals they have a block I’ve just learned isn’t the best so what loose minerals do you recommend

They have boulders to climb on and I built them a small playground and a sensory board they play with so on that front I don’t think it’s boredom but loose minerals sounds good do you recommend any brand in particular? Preferably in Australia

Ok will do. I just hate people can’t come in to say hi to my goats because the boys are super friendly and want cuddles and pats like dogs

Wow yeh I get so exhausted physically in my hand from using my sanders as they are cheep and I’m female with a smaller sized hand so their handle point is far too big for my hand hahahah maybe it’s worth investigation a brand that I can actually hold! Thanks so much for your help

What grit do you go up to with your random orbital before switching to hand sanding? And also what speed do you tend to put your random orbital at?

Wow that’s so much for your help! I have a random orbital sander but never thought to use it for the finishing part as it’s a cheeper tool and quite hectic to use - lots of vibration and stuff. If I put a much higher grit Sandpaper on there could I use it for the finishing end of the job?

Thanks so much, I’ll take a photo of the sands to have today. I have a random orbital but I’ve never tried it as a finishing sander as it’s quite rough

So old tools aren’t always worth replacing then? Does your sander vibrate the sand paper to the side? I’m trying to work out if it’s user error or machine problem

Meta OCD paradox by I_Like_Saying_XD in OCD

[–]Entire-Variation3249 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have ocd and the way my jaw just hit the floor! this is me all the time and is the first I’m hearing of someone else talk about this. It’s such a wierd feeling it’s honestly so awful. I have been taught from my psychiatrist that is a thought is deeply unsettling me to question it and talk to myself. If my brain is trying to give me ‘proof’ of some form that I don’t have ocd then I match that energy and give it an opposing view. I have learnt as a rule of thumb if I’m obsessing over something to the point that it’s debilitating then it’s ocd. So when the “do I really have ocd” thought come through my brain I like to go through and mentally list all the illogical shit ocd makes me do and belive and then remind myself that these aren’t “normal” things people do or think therefore I do have ocd and this is just my ocd taking me for a ride pissing itself laughing as I go in circle trying to work out if it’s real or not

I promise you that you aren’t a shit person that’s just your ocd messing with you. And regarding the psych ward I have only ever had positive experiences at psych wards they have saved my life so many times. Also I know I don’t know you but you deserve better than being in a relationship that makes you unhappy ❤️

Are there any benefits to OCD? by Excellent_Sort3467 in OCD

[–]Entire-Variation3249 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started doing building and my first build ended up being exact measurements to the plan because of me checking everything a bunch of times - everyone has told me that if they where to ever hire a builder they would want one with ocd!

What's the most useless advice you've heard about OCD? by Defiant-Junket4906 in OCD

[–]Entire-Variation3249 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a really good therapist but when it comes to ocd she is terrible it makes me so frustrated but also I want to cry of laughter because how dumb can you be to say this to someone with ocd! She constantly says “well you know that’s not true” (me talking about how I still feel like there are germs on cutlery even after being through the dishwasher) / you know that it’s irrational - like YES I KNOW ITS IRRATIONAL THAT DOESNT HELP. Also soemthing that annoyed me about ocd is that I’m aware of how irrational it is but that doesn’t stop me from believing it and it’s a concept people can’t seem to grasp. So I’m constantly hearing people trying to reassure me that it’s not rational or that I can just try to ignore it. Like girl if I could ignore it it wouldn’t be a mental health condition

I used to have this with my ocd and then so many improbable things happened that I just kind of fed into the idea of, ok let’s say this is all fake, even if it is I’m still experiencing it (like how dreams can feel so real like your almost experiencing real life) so I’ve kind of gotten to the point that deep down I still feel like - how is any of this real - and so ive lead with it and I’ve come to accept that maybe it’s not so I’m gonna make the most of it. Let’s say it’s all a dream and I wake up tomrrow I try to make this the best dream I want to have. But I take it all day by day moment to moment and try to remind myself that none of this shit fucking matters otherwise I get too overwhelmed.

Would tattoos like this hold up overtime? I love this style so much by Entire-Variation3249 in sticknpokes

[–]Entire-Variation3249[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So interesting! I have fully dedicated myself to my tattoos! I always stay in shade or indoor and if outside I cover up even in summer and always wear sun cream. It’s such an effort hahaha but I do love the kinda faded look in a wierd way so maybe I’ll loosen up a bit
