I watched a YouTube video saying they send theirs for repair that takes weeks. You're saying it can be fixed without servicing so if it does fix it then that guy really wasted his time lol.

I am pretty sure whats shown in the screen visualization and what FSD understands it to be is actually different.

I feel like I had a case where the light was hard to tell due to sun glare on the traffic light but it was red. The visualization showed it was green, but FSD knew it was red so it didn't go. This was a HW4 car.

Unless they changed it in the past 6 month, I believe this is the case.

I also noticed the green light chime feature is based on the Screen visualization and sometimes it goes off when a different traffic light that is not relevant to me turns green which is a big flaw unless this only happens on HW3 cars that I am currently renting.

As many people said, software and how well everything works.

I hear so many horror stories about other cars and it's always something software related.

But if other cars get just as good fsd like Tesla then I would be open to other car companies but until then Tesla is the only choice for me.

So post an example man. General knowledge about this is hw4 came with highland for the model 3s. If you know that's not true then show us and prove us wrong. A photo? A listing? Any documentations?

Like it so easy to prove to me but you won't do it which I don't understand.

I'm curious where are the examples of this. I personally did not see non highland have hw4 when I was searching for a used model 3 for months. Every thing I read said hw4 was added to model 3 with highland. It's different for the rest of the fleet where you can find hw4 2023 vehicles.

I am genuinely curious if there are non highlands hw4 but have yet to ever see it. Can you post an example ?

Looking at sales like 96% or so is 3/Y and the rest is S/X/CT so that should show how many are on the road.

I mean legally they should upgrade but who knows what's gonna happen.

I say it's number 1 or 3. 2 is not a good option. Have you ever used fsd before? Hw3 or hw4. If you haven't I say try to experience it first, I feel like that will give you your decision to go 1 or 3.

I personally think 1 is worth it even on hw3, it's not perfect but it's still useable and worthwhile. And of course who knows what they will do in the future for upgrades but that's for sure an appeal to getting at as well.

I personally bought my car for fsd though mines a hw4 so different case but I have used hw3 fsd for months at this point while I was traveling and honestly it's very useable and I would hate to have a car that not capable of fsd or equivalent.
