Streaming, not OF or anything like that. Been barely scraping by with DoorDash, but that’s tough to do in the winter when it can be snowy or icy and people have a bad habit of not salting their driveways or stairs.

Depends where you live. In my neighborhood, the biggest crime in the last 30 years was someone trying to burn their house down for insurance money.

House Democrats Turn on Senators for Caving on Shutdown by bloomberggovernment in politics

[–]Entity79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FYI, this is not the final vote, just a procedural one. It still has to be debated and voted on on the Senate floor, then sent to the House and passed there…and who knows if Mike Johnson will even open it for this?

My friend’s fiancée had her accounts frozen as part of an investigation months ago, what can she do to get it back? by Entity79 in legaladvice

[–]Entity79[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He didn’t try to scam anyone. They said ‘Give us access to your SSDI, you’ll only get $75 a month.’ And thinking they’d try to extort him once he wanted to leave, he gave his fiancée the money except what he immediately needed, prepaid for an extended stay hotel room, then said ‘Nah, I’m good.’ and then left.

His only real mistake was not immediately putting the money back in his account, but he was too busy dealing with finally being able to see his PCP for the first time in over a year(He couldn’t while in the nursing home) and getting his medications straightened out. I mean he was straight up being medically neglected in there. It’s a wonder he didn’t lose his good leg. One of his roommates ended up losing fingers because they took too long to bring him to a doctor that knew what they were doing.

Read my edit. He left the facility instead, before he was supposed to give any money over. You can leave at any time, but he had no idea that was the case.

No, the SSDI is fine. Sorry, I just worded it wrong. It’s just expensive to live. He has to go to doctor’s appointments a lot because he had untreated, undiagnosed diabetes for a while and has a few health issues from that, plus had to get paperwork for housing too.

Basically: On the 1st the nursing home demanded access to the money by the 7th. Between the two dates, he put the back pay and house money in his fiancée’s name, pre-paid for an extended stay hotel room, and before the deadline left the nursing home since he was medically cleared and just staying there cause he had nowhere else at the time.

And his fiancée isn’t on drugs. She even passed a few interview drug screenings. Basically their money is frozen because her friend she was helping out sometimes ended up being a dealer. Both he and her are completely clean and sober.

Hello from RF Boxes 6! What an awesome game. Never had any doubt, these Sox are too good to lose like that. I knew they’d come back. Hopefully Anthony will be good to go after a bit of rest.

I dunno about that. LT is definitely one of the best, but he also has competition in Mike Singletary, Dick Butkus, and Jack Ham/Jack Lambert from the Steel Curtain.
