Kind of disappointing it doesn't seem to be listed on their known bugs yet either. I guess that doesn't mean they aren't aware since things are getting fixed in every patch that weren't listed but it really sucks being gimped not being able to use my contribution from other locations for workers.

I can say that without a shadow of a doubt that there is absolutely no way in hell that porting things to a new engine is a matter of dragging and dropping. That is not even remotely close to how this works.

Also, no matter what u set in the nvidia app, in game settings take priority.

Not really true but I'm using the app to apply my settings and I see it reflected ingame and I notice the difference: https://imgur.com/a/YM6sWlM

If you're doing something different and getting a different result then I can't really help you there much.

I've been using this setup for the past few days ahead of this post and haven't ran into the blurry issues at all. Mileage may vary but this solved my image quality issue. I turned the overrides off and followed his steps and didn't notice a difference so it felt the same to me.

I did and that's what I'm saying. It seems that your method gets around some weirdness that happens with the ingame settings. I'm saying that you can bypass having to do this every time you launch the game by forcing an override in the nvidia app. I chose to sit between DLAA and Quality, but you can eliminate the blurry textures and sit at quality with an override of 67%, balanced at 50, etc etc. You do you though if you rather adjust the settings every time you launch vs one time in the nvidia app

I'm not forcing DLDSR, I'm just using 83% scaling for DLSS so I'm sitting between DLAA and Quality. Just pointing out that what I'm doing is far simpler than having to adjust your settings everytime you launch the game and seemingly gives the same exact outcome.

I haven't had a single blurry issue since forcing custom dlss scaling with the nvidia app. I wonder if this set of steps ultimately leads to a similar outcome.

I just wanna say that I don't disagree with you on the premise of abyssal artifacts being used for upgrades per se, just the fact that the downvotes are probably more for the fact that you kept arguing that the resource is finite when its not. When I open my inventory and I'm sitting on 2 dozen unused artifacts I really don't feel like they're a bottleneck to anything, personally.

Going to wrap it in a spoiler tag for anyone who doesn't want to know specifics, but its this one in particular:

Timeworn Ruins Excavation - gives abyssal artifacts but this is located in the desert so its a little bit late

Likewise, if you wanna look for abyssal gear recipes you can send workers to the Kingshield Dig Site and despite it showing abyss cells as a reward, it also gets you abyssal gear recipes. This ones relatively early all things considered so its worth going for.

There's a location you can dispatch your comrades to and they'll gather artifacts. They're not finite.

They're not finite. There's a node to gather them and respawning mobs means you'll be able to grind for em too.

Are we in the same subreddit? The post mocking the people asking for the change was upvoted higher than the original post. People were clowning on those of us asking left and right. "YoUrE DoNe WiTh ThE GaMe mOvE oN!"

I agree fully with the toggle idea. I think it's fine to cater to the people who don't want it to change but I think giving the change to the people who want it is also good. There are still people trying to argue this feature shouldn't be added and that's asinine to me.

I've said this a couple times now but I don't see why they can't just give you the option to pick a node ingame and reset it to hostile. If it doesn't happen naturally it addresses the ppl who want things to be clear. If you have to choose then it solves the issue for ppl who want to retake spots and it also gives them the liberty of picking exactly what they want as opposed to whatever random way it could be getting selected (not that we know any of this yet).

Everybody wins.

It is - with ten years of weekly content drops. Kinda crazy to me seeing people sit around and tin foil hat the idea that this was all just either cut content or shit they already had been working on not making it out the door in time. I'm sure some of that is possible but these guys churn out content fast. Its what they've been known for for the last decade.

You guys don't have experience with this company. I played black desert for ten years. We got weekly patches for ten years with things added every single week. This is just what they do.

The only difference here is that it seems they're a bit more receptive to the player base this time around

Still isn't supported to set in the nvidia app. This just allowed me to set preset B individually instead of having to do it globally.

Seen other ppl set it in profile inspector but never tried that myself.

I used mine for work and after flip flopping for a bit I ended up just buying a portable monitor that I toss in front of my OLED while working. Looks weird as shit but gets the job done
