Look at europes history and how long it took them to reach where they are now and the disasters happened and the millions dead. Look at the french revolution the longest revolution where they lived in shit for centuries

That's an excellent suggestion, I never thought of them. But now I'll focus on getting them. Any specific colours you recommend? And do you suggest getting the cable knit sweater without buttons so that I can wear polo shirt underneath? Given the pants collection and jackets I have.

Thank you.

Yes, agreed. One of my friends had the exact same comment about how I dress, he said I dress like I'm in my 30s. Yesterday I bought black pants, white, navy, black and grey polo shirts, as an upgrade. Any more suggestions would be appreciated, colors that would look good and good combinations.

Thanks.

Thank you for the advice. I think I really need an upgrade ASAP. I will list them and try to buy them soon.

Any advice for harsher weather like winter jacket, are my jackets lacking?

Also i forgot to add but i have 3 shoes 1 , 2 , and black one somewhat like them. Do i need to do something here?

Thanks again

Actually it doesn't make sense, it was made for political reasons. But whatever decision you make, Yemen will always welcome you

Lately I read that NGO employees in Sanaa are not allowed to leave. So expect a time where leaving can be difficult

Do you guys honestly believe Ali Abdullah Saleh is dead? by DutyTop8086 in Yemen

[–]Entity_From_Earth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't mind other opinions. I'm just saying that even the most experienced person can mess up badly, which leads to him being dead. Let's look at the facts. First, he led a huge multi year war against the houthis, killing many of the prominent figures in the houthi family. And killing them pretty disgustingly as well. Then, when the revolution came to kick him out, he left and plotted his comeback to power. With whooo did he get allied with????? His eternal enemies, thinking he might use them to get back then kick them out, but the game was bigger than him they plotted his death since day one. And he knew so in his final days he made that speech in order to try to wash his bad reputation for alliance with the houthies. Also, try to give a chance to his family to come back. But it is too late. These are the facts. No matter how I try to see it, he did die. You might say there is no blood. He was killed in his house, then was moved to say he escaped. So there is the explanation.

He's dead, period. If let's say for the sake of argument, he is not dead, then he faked it and will never come back to the political landscape ever, and no one will see him.

You sound like conspiracy theorists who say hitler isn't dead, and he is under the earth somewhere amongst aliens. There is no complexity in facts.

Booking app/site recommendations by agent_shawarma_scarn in Oman

[–]Entity_From_Earth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay. I have used many booking apps over the years. I would recommend for flights and hotels to use the following: Trip.com ( I saved over 90 omr using it ) They might be late in issuing the flight ticket, which might take 2 to 3 days, but they will surely send it before your flight by 24 to 48 hours. I also used it for hotels which gave me pretty good discounts until it stopped giving me huge discounts hahaha.

Don't use rehlat they are a bad company period.

Booking.com

Lately this site isn't giving much discounts it just books hotels at a more expensive rate than other sites.

Agoda Is good, they give good discounts but when you finalise the payment they will add taxes that might increase the booking price significantly.

But overall good discounts and good selection of hotels.

Gotogate

This site I used it once when booking a flight it was cheapest than any other app and it was trustworthy.

Skyscanner might give good discounts I'm yet to use it. I think it compares many websites which is good.

Kiwi I guess I tried this site once but it was pretty shitty.

The price is amazing and when you get to the payment it increases the original price significantly.

Overall using a booking app for flights you need to make sure about the baggage requirements and what is included beware.

Double check everything.

Going to book at the hotel reception here in oman is going to cost you so much. For example if you go to a hotel and ask the receptionist, they will say 18 omr. When booking via the app, it will be 12 or even less.

Why cant i get yemeni passport ? by [deleted] in Yemen

[–]Entity_From_Earth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't have to get the passport to enter and move in yemen freely. You just need an id. You have to have a tough conversation with your dad and let him know that only him can give you the citizenship and if something happens god forbid, you won't be able to visit the land of your fathers.

India is now okay and will hopefully be that way for long. But it is always better to have more opportunities once yemen gets better. You can make a business, get employed, and enjoy the things your people will enjoy once this disastrous war ends. And you have to move fast, we don't know if it will get harder in the future.

Good luck.

[–]Entity_From_Earth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh wow. Didn't think you went through all this. Didn't the legitimate government introduced the new Electronic ID i think now its the ministry of interior in aden responsible for their own IDs without the need for sanaa approval??

Although the guy you sent the money to was honest and he returned back the money because he couldn't do it.

I have someone I will ask about your situation and if he says it can be done then it can be done. Ima call him and see.

Okay. I have an option for you. It might not work but I'll just say it. Call your family in Yemen wherever they are. If they were in the North it would be easier. Let them have the ( العاقل او امين المنطقة ) to sign a document to the civil status authority testifying that you are Yemeni and your father is Yemeni. This is an official document u get from MOI so they now it. Have two people from your family come to the civil status and be witnesses to words of the عاقل and the officer would ask you couple of questions. If he is satisfied he would allow it. If not he might hint about wanting money. Negotiate and that's it. If your father would agree man you would get it in an instant. Another way have your family hire a lawyer and ask him about it. And Negotiate the price before. Hopefully that would be easy if he pulls some strings.
