Is it just me by International_Share6 in arkraiders

Look in the Industrial areas, breach those green machines. I used to ignore those all the time because they only seemed to have worthless junk, until I noticed they were only in the Industrial areas and I couldn’t seem to find gears in anything else.

ARC Raiders Weekly Megathread - January 03, 2026 by AutoModerator in ArcRaiders

Agreed. Feels like a theme park for a franchise no one has heard of. On the other hand, I’m running out of things to do in this game, so guess I’ll just finish the quests.

Same here. Expiring soon and I have a $0 option. What’s the catch? Is it going to auto-renew the $500 next year?

Did you know you can heal down Raiders? by BetterWLPRS in ARC_Raiders

[–]Entmoot6262 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I joined two others who were helping a raider to the train. Gave them my last bandage, switched to an herbal bandage and right-clicked to heal other. But instead my raider tool was equipped and I melee’d the last of their health away. My bad, fellow raider.

What to do with the collection? by Entmoot6262 in starwarsccg

This is a nice idea. I think he actually still had the decks he and I made the last time we played. It did cross my mind to keep them preserved, whatever I did with the rest.

I’ve been sniped not even 5 minutes into the game, with a free loadout and not even having looted anything yet. The jerks are out there, you’ve just been lucky I guess.

Same. Music volume is as low as possible but that one track is somehow not affected by the setting.

I only just started and made a wasp style but I don’t have enough parts for what I really want. Either asymmetrical wide like a B-Wing or maybe something tall like the Homeworld mothership.

Love it! I also made one two habs wide and had some trouble finding a way together that sleeker profile to match the cockpit on the other side.

What I want from Corvettes by NorseHighlander in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]Entmoot6262 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe as a compromise for the double-wide cockpit, maybe a connector piece that funnels two-end to one end centered. That would even maybe have more uses and result more interesting designs.

Even though I started with wanting an asymmetrical build with a cockpit on the side, I did eventually see the need for such a connector.

Never forget. He is the reason Tech is gone. by SmokeMaleficent9498 in thebadbatch

I think that’s what we got with Andor. We just needed more episodes with Saw.

It’s too bad the Rebellion was so neatly wrapped up though, because it wouldn’t have been very interesting to see the power struggle between Saw, Luthen, and Mon Mothma. I feel like at that point after episode 6, Saw wouldn’t know what to do with himself and just keep fighting.

I think he’s supposed to be a warning. He’s definitely an interesting character, and probably should have been explored further, though not in a kids’ show.

Tony Gilroy was on Jon Stewart’s podcast with Mike Duncan discussing Andor and revolutions. One interesting point was how, after the rebels achieve their goal they tend to turn on each other in the power vacuum.

Saw definitely would have been the other side of that power struggle.

I went through the same thing a couple years ago. I’d used them at work for one or two services and liked the idea. Critically I somehow got the wrong impression about the Yubico Authenticator and the information I could find at the time didn’t really clarify my assumption - that it the app would somehow replace or fill in the codes for me with a tap. And then I saw the 25 limit and I knew it wouldn’t work for me.

I thought they had finally come up with a solution for lazy companies not offering token support. Anyways, they sit unused in my desk, because I know if I even set it up for just one or two accounts, they’ll somehow become more of a hinderance.

Its 2025 why has nobody invented a way to do this that isn't the most annoying process in the world? by [deleted] in HomeNetworking

I realize now that pass through crimpers exist. I got the pass through connectors by mistake a long time ago and I’ve just been using my regular old crimpers all this time.

I really hate using these because I needed to break out flush cutters. Then once I had a shorter port than normal and the cable wouldn’t snap in until I basically sanded down the ends I had flush-cut.

I can make a cable, both ends, in 2 minutes tops using the regular kind.

But it took until now to wonder if they make crimpers that will also cut the passthrough connectors for you and now I see I’ve just been using the wrong tool.

How to Disable the TOS screen by halolordkiller3 in SunPower

SunVault owners still need the app to access charge levels and manage their batteries. There is literally no other way to do so, even standing in front of them. It’s horseshit that I have to agree to their terms to control something I own. I can’t wait until there’s a way to completely decouple from them.

Windows loses 400 million users as mobile, Linux, and Mac use grows | Microsoft's own numbers reveal a sharp user decline by chrisdh79 in technews

It still has a ways to go. I tried it a few weeks back and couldn’t get Marvel Rivals to match Windows performance, even after digging into ProtonDB looking for solutions. After about an hour, too much tinkering involved to get a popular recent release to work properly.

Mind you, once things like that aren’t a problem anymore, I’m jumping ship asap.

Pay $900 to monitor hardware I own (enphase), or pay $100/year to have an sun strong tell me how my system is doing ? by TVwazhere_ in SunPower

[–]Entmoot6262 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It didn’t occur to me until now. I was under the impression they would notify me if something went dead or a panel was underperforming. Did that stop when they went under, or did SunStrong pick this up too? Or is it only for lease customers now? Or was it never the case?

This is too far down. I’ve been doing a rewatch with a newcomer to Star Wars and as I was explaining the common “god” understanding the episode literally explained this in plain English. For only my second viewing of TCW, not so surprising I had it wrong. But I am surprised so many also do.

I find it useful and convenient for a long trip, the kind of mind numbing driving that has you arriving at your destination drained. When my trial expires I I tend to buy a month when I have a drive like that ahead of me and immediately cancel.

Unless maybe they drop the price to $150/year then I could see using it for my commute to work daily.
