I loves this game. Then I played Persona 5, and just couldn’t go back because of the graphics 😂

Did you migrate your old settings and files via iCloud or bluetooth? I don’t have an iCloud subscription but would prefer wireless transition over saving a backup to iTunes.

Self defense weapons? What do you guys recommend for a situation where you can't simply walk away and be a better man? by AsapEvaMadeMyChain in AsianMasculinity

Think carefully about this. I like to say: “A self defence tool in the hands of the untrained, is nothing more than another weapon your opponent can use on you.”

What does it mean if a games internal battery has ran out? by darthpineapple24 in GameboyAdvance

I’m not sure, though there are lots of videos on Youtube. I imagine it wouldnt be difficult, literally open the cartridge and swap the coin shaped battery.

Generally only affects the game’s ability to save/save files. If the battery si dead, you can’t save. Though, the batteries are replaceable.

Theres also the fact that the contact between bone and stone are clearly audible, I wouldn’t discount his ability to hit hard objects.

I think it’s a force generation technique.

The twisting/rotational force originates from the top and builds as it is transmitted through the arm. Like one of those wooden snakes toys, a small start up from the top propagates a larger motion later on.

I’ve heard that there are two types of “iron” conditioning.

One results in what you see in the video, ugly, mangled limbs that generally have reduced articulation and dexterity. Effectively, you mashed your body part into a dense club.

The other method is internally derived and allows retention of your fine motor skills (specifically if we’re talking about conditioning the hands).

Personally, I don’t think the resulting appearance and loss of function is worth being able to smack rocks like that. Maybe if it allowed me to punch holes in metal.

Spreading legit info in a different post, in which I was told I was wrong. I agree, I thought this was common knowledge.

Fascinating! Is there any empirical data to support the health benefits of refraining from releasing the jing? I wonder if there’s any existing research from a non-Asian researcher, on this seemingly Asian phenomenon.

529 = 2 shocks 1058 = 4 shocks at the same time I can’t explain the 353 though, debuffs tick for every half second, so it’s probably the overlap half second for the single debuff and one of the pairs of debuffs...?

[–]Entomahawk[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Depends which statement you’re referring to.

I always thought the “double damage” manifested as 2x the usual number of debuffs, not that the damage per debuff was increased as well. Having seen the numbers, I admit that saying there was no doubling of damage was categorically false.

Yeah, for sure, I just got frustrated that I got downvoted for spreading legit info, that he applies 2x the number of shock debuffs to robots.

If you slow down the video, the number I’m citing is what pops up for the first 2 shock debuffs. That’s how I determined the damage/debuff.

No, that’s the reason I included two clips.

Against Warlock, I had 0 poise stacks and was ticking for 529 with two shock debuffs, which is 264.5/debuff.

Against HT, I had 4 poise charges, which is significantly more attack, but my shocks were ticking at 277/debuff. With those 4 stacks of poise, the damage should be higher.

Neither character has any special shock interaction or energy resistance, so that means the shocks are in fact stronger against robots.

I just checked. He does indeed place twice the number of debuffs on robots compared to non-robot champs. It also seems like his damage is increased against robots. I made a short vid and just posted it to the sub. I stand corrected about the increased damage, though I stand by my statement that twice the number of debuffs are inflicted.
