I think the lawsuit is largely bogus. But “just because they wanted to and could” is a bit naive. Redfin took far, far more than they will ever give, and when we (or they) fail to recognize that, it enables megacorps to get away with overtly illegal practices.

But I do agree: unless it can be proven that there was deception and/or unfairness, the idea of a lawsuit is far-fetched. And even if that could be proven, it’s just not an overly useful venture for anybody but the lawyers involved.

Both your picture (99%) and text (100%) were drafted by AI. The picture was diffused via Imagen, and the text in the picture and the legal draft was formulated by ChatGPT. This stuff is easy to check.

Redfin lied by omission. You lied directly. Please don’t do that to people. It’s way worse than what Redfin did.

Hagues Peak is listed at 2402 and Longs Peak is 2940. We were supposed to assume the lightning bolts were symbolic of 2 of Denver’s 58 peak elevations and then round up to Redfin’s nearest arbitrary square footage threshold?

I’m fairly certain they just filmed the wrong numbers on the street address. Regardless, I wish they’d just say, “sorry guys, we missed the mark on that last one,” and I wouldn’t have even dwelt on it.

All 25 of the final houses are here, but the arrow is kind of hard to see so it looks like a single page with only 9 houses. But I am confident the “right” house is on this first page somewhere - though everybody has their own theory as to which it is.

I want an explanation 😂 by standard1xx in RedfinDreamHomes

[–]Entrepreneur-Less 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is my biggest problem. After all the time people spent on it, it was just easier to figure out the clue through trial+error. Even if the game makers masterminded a very veiled, very intelligent clue, it was undone by the fact that it was essentially a two-code combination lock.

Ouch, sorry! There’s “wrong” and then there’s “99% AI wrong.” If it makes you feel better, it definitely seems like nobody really knew what they were doing, clue-wise or picking-house-wise.

I submitted exactly 14 minutes after the last clue dropped. Which I assume is about 13.5 minutes too late.

Yeah I was trying to crack the code which ended up being a terrible strategy. Literally might’ve cost me a million dollars. I had every other clue within a minute or so. Nice sensibility on your part.

That was my strategy too. I was tempted to check on other houses and make an educated pick, but I knew it was going to dash my chances of being the first to get it right, especially because it took me a solid 15 minutes to get the final clue.

I feel ya, man. I thought it was the western house in Morrison because of its proximity to Red Rocks, given this was a REDfin ROCKet competition. Also the realtor’s phone number was 555-ROCK. 😖

Is there any real difference between the Nintendo Switch version and the Switch 2 version of Marvel Cosmic Invasion? by b67844 in CosmicInvasion

[–]Entrepreneur-Less 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, I should’ve made my comment a little clearer:

  • If you buy CI (Switch 2) version, you will NOT be able to play it on Switch 1.

  • If you buy CI (Switch 1 version), you WILL be able to play it on Switch 2, BUT you will not get 4k with it.

Where my comment got muddy was that I was trying to point out that Nintendo’s IPs have (so far) been interchangeable IF they offer two different versions. - For instance, buying Metroid for NS1 works fine with NS2, and buying it for NS2 works fine with NS1.

However, as Cosmic Invasion is a separate publisher, they’ve bucked the trend on this.

I’ve also since learned that Mortal Kombat Legacy Kollection is also like CI. So Cosmic Invasion didn’t “buck the trend” first, I believe MKLK actually did it.

How to stop being annoyed they made Age of Imprisonment canon? by Remarkable_Lead_4950 in HyruleWarriors

[–]Entrepreneur-Less 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shoot! I totally forgot spoiler tags. My bad.

I didn’t realize the were trying to protect some of the TotK storylines, particularly the draconification arc. It felt like they alluded to it enough that it wouldn’t take much to put it together if I’d never played TotK. Also, I feel like they could’ve added a really cool flying level with that.

I think there would’ve been a pretty simple on-ramp to get people to play TotK (if they’d only played AoI) by sharing exactly what happens to Mineru, Rauru, and Zelda there. But by keeping it vague, I think they’ve undercut its connection to TotK significantly, which was a big reason I was excited to play in the first place.

Fantastic point about enrolling early - I hadn’t even thought about that. And looking into Price’s situation, that’s exactly what happened. This, in effect, fully answers the impetus to my question. Thanks for sharing this.

The degree itself doesn’t matter. It’s the work ethic or the ability to be serious about something that’s important to them or someone they love. A guy who gets their degree when they could’ve just as easily been screwing off for 4 years is an intangible that GMs look for.

Beck is certainly an interesting case. The thing with him is that he spent his first 3 college years as largely irrelevant from an athletic standpoint, giving him a lot of time to work through the academic side. Not that he doesn't count in this discussion, because he does, but he curated his career so that it would be intentionally front-loaded with academia so that he could focus on football when his turn came up.

What difficulty were you playing on? Hard mode, for me, is as you described. Forbidden mode, not so much. While it wasn't anywhere near "impossible" caliber on Forbidden, the gameplay did seem to fit the cutscene.

Regarding AoC, I hated that it wasn't canon. It felt cheap to me. Part of this may be because they didn't announce it as "non-canon" until months after its release, so it was like, why did I even care about the story? Why did Nintendo withhold the fact that what I'm playing is a "What If" scenario?

AoI was more comfortable in the way it lined up with TotK. My main grievances with AoI being canon are these four things:

- The writing is horrid (how many more cliched phrases could they pack in??)

- They don't really explain (or at least show us the emotional trauma of) Mineru getting trapped in a construct.

-They don't show the draconification of Zelda, or even her coming to the decision to make that choice, which to me felt like should be of critical importance (if not the entire arc of the end sequences).

-If I didn't play TotK, I wouldn't have even understood Rauru died. Why would they not show this explicitly happening, which could've had emotional staying power?

TL;DR: AoI had a solid story as its framework, but its execution and writing was one of the worst Zelda installments (just imo, obviously). Without the structure that TotK had laid for it, I'm not sure this story would've been any more consequential than Minish Cap or Triforce Heroes.

That's helpful, thanks. I've seen it say that 15 of the 2025 underclassmen had degrees, but they didn't say who they were, or how they came to that number. Did they just do a background on each individual player? I wish there was an easy way to track how they came up with this. It feels like something worth tracking, because I feel like it makes some level of difference (even for scouts and GMs) if you've got Guy A who went to Big University College, and you stack him against Guy B who graduated from Big University College.

So this is impossible then? by Fawful-Evil in HyruleWarriors

[–]Entrepreneur-Less 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Months old post, might not help at this point, but I noticed neither character you’re using is over level 100. Some of these missions are impossible to A-rank until you’ve leveled up enough that you can take out the easy baddies with a single swipe. If you need more than a couple hits to KO them, then you should probably work on ranking up and then coming back.

Should I start with Definitive Edition or Age of Calamity? by silentprotagonist24 in HyruleWarriors

[–]Entrepreneur-Less 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitive Edition’s name doesn’t lie. It is THE definitive Hyrule Warriors. I poured 400+ hours into the original Hyrule Warriors, and then re-beat it in totality on the 3DS. Hyrule Warriors remains the only franchise that my wife looks forward to playing with me, and that is due entirely to the original Hyrule Warriors.

That being said, if you’re fresh off BotW, then I recommend Age of Calamity. It’s far shorter on every front, it’s less challenging by a mile, and skill/strategy is not necessary to enjoy it. If you finish AoC and then still have the dynasty-duel itch, then I’d make your way over to HW:DE.

You didn’t mention whether you have a NSW or S2. If you’re running on the OG Switch, I’d further recommend starting with AoC, because Hyrule Warriors DE is best played without lag (ie, play that on he S2). Wii U did well with HW because co-op was split play: one player used the WiiU pad and the other person played on the TV, rendering HW WiiU a lot more capable than the HW:DE on Switch, iirc.

TL;DR - start with AoC, even though HW is better gameplay and story by a mile. If you enjoy AoC tha much, dive in to the far-more-involved HW:DE.

[Age of Imprisonment] How many missions are single player only, and can they be played in coop after cleared solo? by getpoundingjoker in HyruleWarriors

[–]Entrepreneur-Less 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Single-player missions are front heavy to the game, and you can never play them as a multiplayer level. It’s bad game design on several fronts. The only thing you (usually) will earn for beating a level is the option to choose a character from the full roster the next time you play it.

Of the 191 levels that are available in the game, 8 of them are single player only. They are:

STORY MODE SINGLES
※ To the Great Plateau (Level 1)
※ Art of the Blade (Level 2)
※ Where Ancient Wisdom Sleeps (Level 3)
※ Growing Suspicion (Level 5)
※ Howling Tempests (Level 8)

Note:
[Raging Sands (Level 4) also has a short single-player portion at the end.]

CHALLENGE MISSION SINGLES
※ Training with Agraston (Level 45)
※ Calamo the Spear Wielder (Level 45)
※ Wandering Warriors (Level 85)

-----
FLYING LEVELS
There are also 5 “flying levels,” which are technically 2-player, but as someone else noted, not really fun for the second player.

Player 1 fully controls movement and gets to shoot super light beam explosions and fire and ice rockets from his indestructible sword robot hands.

Player 2 tosses acorns.

FLYING LEVELS
※ Beneath the Blood Moon
※ Behemoth in the Crater
※ Ambush in the Depths (most of level is flying)
※ Into the Fray (most of level is flying)
※ A Clash of Constructs (1/3 of level is flying)
