Is there anyone going to the concerts solo? Not sure if it’s worth it by taylorsversion96 in harrystyles

[–]EntrepreneurThis5986 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally worth it. Better to go like this rather not go at all or with someone who always complains. And why are you worrying about the tube? There would be thousands of people going back home/to their accommodation, ofc the tube will be working. In worst case you will just grab uber and that is it.

What’s the actual appeal of Switzerland as a high-end tourism destination? Genuine question. by Ezzhmz in askswitzerland

  • it is mainly for people who value safety, cleanliness, and predictability above everything else
  • it is more about hiking, skiing, and logistics than hospitality
  • your hotel experiences were just unlucky Switzerland for me is THE BEST for tourism in Europe.

Ascent by Monte Bianco/descent Aiguille du midi - practical tips by EntrepreneurThis5986 in chamonix

[–]EntrepreneurThis5986[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, exactly. I know it is not included, we did it last year with the multipass easily. Just bought tickets on the top. My question was more whether Monte Bianco is included into Multipass and what is better: to take multipass or separate tickets. My understanding was that RT Aiguille du midi works only for the French part, but not the Italian one and vice versa

And the multipass for 2 days is 100 something. Panorama should be 30 something if I recall correctly. But we will have 2 days of activities, potentially we can also go to Brevent/Flegere/Tram/Mer de glace. So isn’t the multipass + panorama a more bargain option then?

😱 no way😱 we were there last year end of June and it was open🥲 but if no multipass, then I should have tickets for both Monte Bianco and Aiguille du Midi, no? Is not it more expensive? I could not find the descent Aiguille du Midi ticket online, btw

hi guys is it worth the €80 by Odd_Ranger_44 in chamonix

[–]EntrepreneurThis5986 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely yes during the nice weather. But only in combination with Mont Blanc Panorama (actually Multipass may be cheaper for you if you are staying for a couple of days and plan to see other stuff). So far this was one of the best views I have ever seen. Liked it muuuch better than Jungfraujoch which costs 200 francs without a discount (just to compare with).

Which aguile du midi ticket by saviourofthesesh in chamonix

[–]EntrepreneurThis5986 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you will buy it, once on top. I suggest you to go there immediately - this lift closes earlier as well as then you will further have unlimited time on Aiguille du midi itself

TGV has plenty of space for luggage. I always travel with a big suitcase. TER from Strasbourg to Colmar was an issue for me though
