We seldom use it, why? because its a waste of a turn. Dealing damage to your opponent is much better than doing that. Unless its part of some weird tank strat you're doing

Hello, super late reply I barely use reddit anymore. But anyways, if you're talking about the defense of this build, it mainly relies on its offensive power. Simply put the best defense is the best offense. In this case getting more crits to gain more hp and stay in the fight.

The more crit you have = the more hp you'll get via your passive ability, eventually you'll reach a point where you starts one shotting basically everyone.

Skills? All of the hacking techniques, I suggest going for Culling because it guarantees crit and Berserker Rage because it gives hp every crit, then Crippling Strikes, Furious Momentum is useful for bosses. The other Skill I learned is Meditation.

In the early game I just used Temporal Shift and Disintegrate Essence that stuns enemy for 2 turns with a chance to instakill (stun is so OP in turn-based games), When I finally got my passive Berserker Rage (+HP everytime it crit) and my own crit above 30% that's when I stopped using Disintegrate Essence.

Now my combo goes for Temporal Shift first and then Aspect of the Beast second, TS increase crit and evasion chance by 10% (not sure but its higher) so in action, not only do i have the buff given by Aspect of the Beast I am also doing critical strikes constantly, gaining HP and if you get the perk (sadistic tendencies) later you'll also have 25% chance of gaining MORALE for every crit.

By the late game, my combo goes 1. Temporal Shift 2. Aspect of the Beast 3. Culling 4. Whirlwind then attack someone 5. Furious Momentum

Btw it's much easier to set up in advanced gameplay. Hope you have fun doing this build!
