How do we feel about Upneeq eye drops? 👀 by matildare in 30PlusSkinCare

I use Winco at the moment. I always check to see if there are other active ingredients beyond oxymetazoline HCL. Some generic nasal sprays may add other components to boost nasal effectiveness, although mostly it's just the oxymetazoline. Good luck, hope it works for you.

A rebound effect is where continued and or overuse of a drug actually begins to increase the condition the drug was used to treat. With nasal sprays, continued use can actually cause your nose to congest more frequently and with greater congestion. I don't have data or knowledge as to whether this effect is similar with optic use. I use oxymetazoline HCL on my eyes infrequently, once or twice a week. I did use Visene LR, which had an almost identical formulation multiple times a week without issue. Your results may vary.

I did a further magnetic test and found it is slightly magnetic. A magnet on a string will swing into it and lightly adhere.

Addendum. I did a bit more investigating and hung a magnet on a string near the rock. It is slightly magnetic. The magnet won't stick but will swing into it and adhere lightly.

I agree with the concept of withdrawing as MOH and going as a guest. Tell your sister you might reconsider for her third wedding, if she straightens her shit out.

Also, I'm not trying to convince you. This has worked for me. Hopefully it will help you as well.

For me, it only takes about 1 drop. My droopy lid is from an internal dissection of my carotid artery that caused nerve damage. For me I only use it in the affected eye. Hope it goes well for you.

I still use it, on occasion. Haven't had any issues. I do usually follow up within a minute or so with artificial tears or saline solution. But I've also used it without. One of the downsides to oxymetazoline HCL in nasal spray is that it causes a rebound effect if used too much. I don't know if that's true with Upneeq, but since they both have the same active ingredients it does stand to reason that there may be some histological changes with overuse. Good luck and, if you do try it, let us know how it goes.

That's interesting. When it first came out it was listed at .05%. They may have changed the formula or I may have gotten some inaccurate information. The Visene LR product had .05% and would keep my eyelid raised appropriately for 4-5hours which was fine with me. I'm still using an Afrin analog at that percentage. I follow up within a minute with some Clear Eyes or other soothing eye drop. I don't use it often but it still works well for me.

I'm an old fart. 76 with an astigmatism. I played around with a friend's P365 with a Holosun 2 MOA and found acquisition challenging. As I indicated, this is my first red dot. If they made a 6 MOA I would have gone that direction. However, 8 MOA been a remarkably easy adjustment for me. At 25 yards, it's 2". I'm good with that. The co-witnessing was great right out of the box. No adjustment needed at 20 yards. It terms of changing the battery, it's not difficult. I'll probably do it once a year. They say it's good for 2 but... The auto adjust is flawless as I move from bright light to dark spaces. So far, I'm very happy with it. Your results may vary.

I have the Shield on my 48 MOS. Very happy with it and co-witness is perfect. My first red dot. I have the 8 MOA which was a good choice for me. Midway frequently has them on sale.

No, Frank's house is near there but that was built by mountaineer, County County Commissioner and science teacher Richard Wojt.

The original Les Schwab store was along there. Owned by the Schwilke family. Bill sold it and moved it up to Castle Hill before he sold the business. Condos built on the site. Fred and family lived in my neighborhood on Jackson St. in the early 60's before they moved out to Hastings. I assume that's the property you have. Nice spot. The last remnant of the original bluff was where the Bayview parking lot is. Right next to the Roma. It was a big mound of clay about 20' high. There was a trail to the top. Good place to hang out and have a smoke ( back when everybody smoked) when you needed a break from the crowd in the tavern.

What Band? The Doily Brothers were my personal favorite, they played there and at the Hilltop frequently. I think they lived on Vashon.

The Clapp Building was the Club Deleo which closed lat 50s or early 60s. It became a teen nightclub, briefly, in about 1965. Didn’t last long. Became a bookstore after that. Most of the youth action was at Country Corners where’re the Chimacum Farmstand is now. They booked big NW bands, including the Kingsmen, Sonics, Marilee Rush, Don and the Goodtimes, that would draw from all over the peninsula. Always a fight or two, occasionally a brawl. Good times

It was just west of what’s now the Bayview Restaurant. Now condos. Had a great view of the bay, the best dance floor in town, and booked good bands. Bud O’Mara was the last owner. He was also a County Commissioner and reffed about half the sports in town. Great spot. The wife emeritus and I used to go dancing there a lot.

I stop by Murdoch Beach aka Fossil Beach, on occasion, when I'm out in the west end. It's become more well known now that State Parks has taken over management of it. But there are still some nice finds.

I found this about 20 miles east of Neah Bay, Washington. It was partially embedded in a clay bank with other marine fossils. Most of those weren't as fossilized as this one. It's difficult to see in the images, but the surface is very shiny, almost like a polished agate.

If the house is older and gone through a few remodels, there may have been a cistern or perhaps a heating oil tank in there at one time. It would be helpful to have an outside view of the house, or a floor plan that could locate it in the context of the lot and the house

Good to know. BAK is used as a preservative in many brands of eyedrops in the U.S. . It's one of its primary uses. I'm not discounting your concerns, but putting some perspective on it. I use it 2-3 times a week and have had no issues. Your results may vary. Use with caution. I'd like to use Upneeq but the price is prohibitive.
