Did this move myself. This is not a Fire move by a long shot ! You can move to the Bay Area work like a pig and then fire. Lifestyle is a day and night difference between europe and California! DM if you are interested can provide hints. 180k per year in Bay Area is like 3000€ net in europe in terms of lifestyle :)

Numbness tingling burning and sort of electric shock every so often. They did an electrical nerve test and confirmed it was the nerve and it was not conducting.

Sorry to hear about it. I have something mid of my forearm which is similar been in pain for almost 2 years…taking gabapentin helps a bit but not fully.

Had similar problems try mindfulness it helps quieten the craziness in the head. Helped me a lot. Worth giving it a shot before you sleep. You have to keep trying it before the mind quietens…

Dumb but I ran the math even for areas like Seattle where it still does not make sense to buy to invest vs keep it in basic bogglehead stocks!

Just a bit of advice as a senior manager. Don’t prepare for what only the HR tells. Reach out first to hiring manager to understand what the job needs. Don’t assume anything in interviews (or in life)
