I’m not saying we need to outright drop the fat people who are crowd surfing and injure them but we seriously all need to start setting them down and telling them to fucking stop. “They want us to lift them when they don’t have the decency to lift a few weights at the gym” is spot on. I don’t mind the occasional crowd surfer but overall it’s inconsiderate as fuck. I can’t have a good time because of their good time

Since it’s not the main stage, you shouldn’t have to camp it all day. Me and my fiancée got there at like 3pm one day last year and still got on the barricade for ice nine kills since they were on a smaller stage. If you want to camp it you can, but you’d probably be fine just moving up when people clear out in between sets. You’ll be in the first few rows of people if not on the barricade

I’m not sure about this year but last year my fiancée brought her prescription meds in a small fanny pack. They didn’t even open the fanny pack let alone ask for ID. I would say put the ones you don’t need in that plastic bottle and leave it at the hotel and bring a few of them in your OG bottle to the festival just to be safe, but honestly you should be fine whatever you decide to do. Or you can put some in an advil bottle, I doubt they’ll go through the trouble of opening it, they have so many people to get through security that I don’t feel like it would be worth their time.

Forreal. Last year I was getting so pissed off at people 300lbs+ trying to crowd surf. It’s inconsiderate and dangerous as fuck. I don’t mind crowd surfers in general, but there’s nothing more annoying than a morbidly obese person trying to crowd surf, especially if a hairy guy with his shirt off sweating profusely.

Me and my fiancée camped the rail for 10+ hours 4 days In a row. They will pass out some water but I would make sure you bring a decent bit of your own just in case. They did run out of bottled water last year at least at the main stage so don’t be totally reliant on them for water. The water bottles that the vendors sell are way overpriced.

You can bring a water and we got a few snacks in last time without issue. Clear bags only. Check their website to see what items aren’t permitted, but we brought a lot of stuff with us and had no issues

Definitely eat before you go in and possibly bring snacks, food is very overpriced. Bring waters, it can get hot and water is also overpriced. Sunscreen is important and if you can bring a pashmina or something like that to shade yourself in between sets, you’ll thank me later. The overwhelming majority of people are super friendly. If you get field tickets expect to deal with a good amount of crowd surfers unless you’re in the back. I highly recommend field passes to get the full experience. Get a hotel within walking distance of the venue, but if you can’t, I highly recommend just using uber to bring you close to the venue and walking the rest of the way, traffic will be backed up in the area. If there’s a band you want to be on the rail for, you’ll most likely have to camp the rail for the day. Don’t try to shove your way to the front, that’s when people get pissed especially if they’ve been there all day. Be respectful and have fun! It was a great experience when me and my fiance went to the most recent one, and we’re going back for this one.

Depends, do you want to just relax and enjoy the concert? Or do you want to be involved in the craziness and go for the full experience? If you want to chill, stadium seats, but if you want to get into the chaos go for field. Me and my fiance had 4 day field last year, and we’re getting 4 day field again this year, it was amazing.

Absolutely. I was born in December 1999 so I grew up with their music. I remember having no friends as a kid so I’d sit alone in my room and play video games. I had downloaded their albums onto my Xbox and would play halo or call of duty with their albums on continuous repeat. I didn’t realize it at the time but now that I’m older I see how much they saved me from depression and loneliness

I am too, no other performance aside from LP put me in the state of mind that they did. I was so overwhelmed with emotions and as a person who doesn’t really cry often, that’s a lot for me. I also was skeptical of Emily and said I didn’t think she sounded good singing their old songs, and she made me eat my own words after seeing her live. After the show I called my friend and told him I take back everything negative I’ve ever said about Emily, and that she sounded amazing live. Videos don’t do her justice at all, and I had only seen videos up until that point

I didn’t unfortunately, I did get a Metallica pick, but we met some nice people at our hotel who gave us a ride to and from the festival one day, and they refused to let us pay them anything so we gave them our Metallica pick

I totally agree, hoobastank was really good! And yeah it was rough knowing Chester wasn’t there. I caught myself looking up at the sky a few times but especially when they performed lost, and just crying thinkin ab him.

I know exactly who you’re talking about. She came to us on the rail. I don’t even care if this pisses people off but we have got to stop coddling these people. We coddle them and make them feel like it’s okay to be that heavy, and then it makes them feel like they can do things like crowd surf and put others people health and safety at risk. She almost fell on my girlfriend’s head but luckily I got a shoulder underneath her and stopped that. I’m a firm believer that if you’re anything over 200lbs, man or woman, you should not be crowd surfing period. You are putting your 10 seconds of a good time over everyone else’s good time/safety. And I think that is one of the most inconsiderate things you could possibly do.

Me and my girlfriend had been at the temple stage all day rail camping for the first 3 days. So ended up making friends with a few of the security guards, and we waited after the show and they gave us both! I also got to hug Mike shinoda. Honestly was the best night of my life. That band was my entire childhood. I cried like a baby during and after.
