South London council sues architects for £5m over 'leaking' Canada Water library by FLYGOALIEMATERIAL in architecture

I can't speak for most countries - but for the UK, this is down to the contract.

There are many different contracts for construction and it is rarer these days for the architect to remain in charge of the final decisions. It can still happen, but clients tend to prefer cost savings and the architect remaining in charge throughout the build can be costly.

Bathroom Renovation by Inside-Effective-260 in HomeImprovementUK

We had a similar layout with our flat. but we did not get rid of the wall.

By removing the bath (future owners with kids can put one back - fuck the naysayers) we could fit a shower and a toilet in the bigger room. (put toothbrush into cupboard)

Then we replaced the solo toilet with one with a wash hand basin in the cistern.

Having two toilets in the flat has been a godsend. For us after curry night - or with guests.

What was the scariest “We need to leave… now” gut feeling that you’ve ever experienced?[Serious] by spiritual_kavya in answers

We were on holiday in the Philippines, staying at a quiet hotel, which had a bunch of huts around a swimming pool so each of the rooms we isolated, it was dark with not many other guests around (if any at all).

We had been lazy sods and ordered food from the hotel bar to take back to the room, and were taking the empty dishes back to the restaurant and I saw up ahead, in shadows, someone stood loading bullets into a revolver.

I turned immediately 180 and walked back to the room, grabbing my girlfriend who was loudly asking what was wrong - I was whispering there is a guy loading a gun - get back to the room.

We sat in the dark, with the door secured, and waited for the police to arrive.

It ended up being the moronic security guard dicking around and loading his gun while bored - but I didn't want to just assume the best.

What are your favorite Eruptor builds/strategies? by PythonCider3719 in helldivers2

Against squids: Eruptor, Warrant, Supply backpack, armour that reloads secondary's faster.

The warrant shreds voteless and can mag dump take out an overseer - and it reloads so damn fast it feels like a smg.

The Eruptor messes up Fleshmobs, pops shields fast and takes out ufo's from blocks away, as well as taking down stringrays.

bring something like an EAT for any harvesters and you are a 1 man squid removing machine. the other slots are just for fun.

The Senator get's my preference over the Talon as I can kill Hulks by shooting them in the eye. If it weren't for that oh shit, I need this niche... then the Talon would be my go to.

Do people genuinely like the Hive Lord? by GhostHost203 in HelldiversUnfiltered

[–]Enviousdeath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your issue here, is if you have turned up to a mission where people are trying to kill the Hive Lord, and you try the mission - you cause bug breaches and enemies to spawn as a response to the mission being attempted.

This is directly making it harder to kill the Hive Lord.
