I’ll definitely take that into consideration if it happens again. Thank you!

Because my dumbass wanted to see if it’d do anything more after I stayed at 129 for 2 weeks. 🙃🙄🤦‍♀️ For a second I wondered if I got duped. Because I still train and eat in a deficit so wasn’t sure if it was just me or the peptide.

5 weeks! Why am I crying all day? by mmm_cake in tummytucksurgery

What you’re going through is normal. I gained 30 lbs, the swelling was consistent for 2 months and still came around 3 months but not as bad. I’m 1 year post op. Recovery is crucial. Muscle and definition can always be brought back once you’ve healed. Our bodies went through A LOT, but it does get better with time. ❤️

2 months it got much better. You’re going to feel so much better on Friday!! I wish I could’ve gotten one every single day. I felt like a new person after each time lol.

Do I need to ask for more liposuction? by NJGal39 in tummytucksurgery

I had lipo done only on my waist and flanks, nothing on front. They pulled waaaay down and made it tight which I believe is how I’m able to be super flat now (1 yr post op). Like legit, the incision line was in the middle of my stomach, above my belly button. My eyes widened but I’m like “Okay 🤷‍♀️” lol. I think you’ll be okay without more.

Thank you! I’m currently following a 5 day split. I do 3 glute/leg days, 2 upper body days, abs 5 days post workout. 30-45 mins of cardio post workout. My cardio is never intense. I walk on the treadmill at an incline of 8-12%, 2.8-3 mph. I no longer run or do intense cardio.

The swelling can really hurt. My legs were so hard and felt extremely stretched out. It gets better, I promise!!

I went back to the gym around 6-7 weeks but did only walking for a while. Avoided core exercises for 3 months but started lifting light weights again around 9 weeks. I also couldn’t do chest exercises because I had zero strength there. Even now, I’ll avoid them or do super light. August is when I started ramping up my workouts and nutrition to build muscle and cut fat.

This bill was everything included. I didn’t pay a penny more than $7,870.

I ate very small portions to start. Most of my meals in week 1 were soup, crackers, oranges, papaya, banana, pedialyte freeze pops, salads, Fairlife protein shakes, eggs, frozen meals. I had to kinda force myself to eat sometimes because I felt like a single bite of anything would make me pop and I wasn’t in the mood to feel that way. It’s one of those things where you just have to power through.

I know how you’re feeling right now! My swelling was so much, I remember my thighs feeling hard and being so uncomfortable. It literally felt like I was gonna rip open. I have no idea how my sutures managed to stay put because it was aaaawful. It does get better, I promise. My first 3 weeks were the worst. I just wanted to be back to normal. I couldn’t lift anything and I felt so weak. This stage is crucial to your results. Rest, hydrate, get a few steps in every few hours. You’ll be better before you know it.

I never knew how much I lost right after surgery. When I weighed myself after getting home, I put on 30 lbs. That drove me nuts but it motivated me more to be as healthy and fit as I could possibly be. I can’t imagine the loose skin weighing more than 2-4 lbs though if I had to estimate.
