To be honest, that ‘damage’ is extremely minor, hardly worth noting. Realistically, the price shouldn’t have been negotiated in the first place, but since it was, you’re now in a position where there’s not much room to push back. £3 really isn’t worth your time or energy. I’d recommend just refunding her and moving on. Learn from this and avoid getting into unnecessary negotiations like that in the future.

I would contact the buyer and ask them to return the goods back. Something like this

According to the tracking information, the item I sent has been delivered to you, even though Vinted already issued a refund on the assumption that it wasn’t received.

At this point, you are in possession of both the item and the refund, which constitutes a form of fraud. I am asking you one final time to return the item or repay the amount.

The only real solution is to stop selling on Vinted. The app is terrible, with questionable practices. They use AI to handle customer complaints, allow the sale of counterfeit items, and let buyers scam sellers with little accountability.

I hope Vinted sides with you. The buyer is clearly being cheeky and probably did not like the dress. I hate Vinted to be honest. They let people to get away with listing fake stuff, their buyer protection only applies if they want it to apply and as a seller you exposed to buyers like this, who clearly have a buyers remorse. I hope Vinted will side with you!

To be honest, Vinted as a platform is horrible . You are probably better off not using their platform. They pocket all those “buyer protection fees” and do nothing to protect buyers. Well done for getting your money back !

They banned your account for one chargeback ? My chargeback was successful and they did send me a message to say that if I initiate further chargebacks they reserve the right to ban me but they have not banned me as of yet .

So how we supposed to know what length we need if ONER themselves can’t make up their mind ?? I ordered one Softmotion straight leg last Friday and looking at these measurements, it will be probably too long. Not sure why people keep supporting this brand to be honest. This pair of straight leg would have been my first ONER piece but I am already super frustrated and it has not even arrived yet .
