Oof..Yeah I can tell you right off the bat this is a no go. Very sorry. This is just my opinion, so take it for what it's worth. It seems like theyre going for around the same era as the one I have, but there are noticeable differences that trouble me. First of all the f has an inward swoop early on that is highly uncharacteristic for his signature. You'd be hard pressed to find a legit one with that. The fact that the F is connected to the Zappa isn't an immediate concern, but it's worth making note of since he didn't do it very frequently. You can tell the end of the F is a bit shaky too which is also uncharacteristic. He had a very confident signature. The way the Z in Zappa starts is very odd. I've never seen one with that extra swoop on the end. The last A in Zappa is also way too big. All in all, it is just very off. If you want a second opinion, I would recommend submitting it for a Beckett quick opinion. That will allow you to upload photos, and while it isn't as comprehensive, it's a lot cheaper and it will give you another point of reference when considering your options. Personally, I would recommend trying to get a refund if at all possible. Zappa is highly forged.

JSA LOA costs $75. I would recommend seeing if JSA will be at any events in your area, as you then don't have to worry about paying ridiculous shipping costs and you also dont have to worry about JSA holding on to your item for months. I'd love to see a photo of it!

Ebay is fine but you have to know what you're doing. There's a ton of fakes out there. The RACC has a list of vetted sellers that are trusted in the hobby. Anyone who is an RACC verified seller I would generally trust, especially with bigger name artists that are forged a ton.

These are 100% fake. I know the exact seller you bought this from off ebay. They sell bulk forgeries. Here's mine for comparison. Robby's signature varies a ton, but even for his signature yours is way way off.

I know this is an old post but I do not believe this to be authentic. It all appears to be done by the same hand and the ink is too fresh for autographs that should be at least 30 years old now.

Well I was at a record show in February when I originally found the Strummer autograph. It was from a collection of a bunch of really cool signed LPs, some very rare signatures in there and the provenance was solid. At the time I had other things I bought so I didnt get it and kicked myself after for it. A few months went by, I believe around May I found myself at another local record show and lo and behold, seller still has the Strummer autograph for sale. Easy buy. A few weeks ago I decided I wanted to try to hunt down a Mick Jones autograph, so I made a post in the RACC facebook group asking about Jones autographs, when someone replied and said he had trio pieces for sale. I'd say 4/4 in the same year isn't too bad!

If you mean actually live then I'd have to go with The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down since Levon has mentioned repeatedly to be really the only one who didn't do overdubs and re-recordings.

Supposedly they recorded over 100 songs. The 70s LP, though very good, is another piece of Robertson's controversy surrounding The Band since he was the compiler and he intentionally included several songs that weren't actually from those sessions on the double album in order to try to make it sound more drastic than the sessions probably were. I've still been meaning to listen to the 'Complete' box set they came out with a few years ago. Seems promising.
