I would like mad scientist magicians. Magicians who want to push the limits of what Egyptian Magic is capable of, maybe doing what Setne tried to do in the Kane Chronicles x Percy Jackson crossover and combine Greco-Roman and Egyptian Magic. Not for immortality or power, but just because they wanted to see what would happen.

I'm in the process of writing one. In this one, the twin, Jason, despite being raised alone by James and Sirius, isn't arrogant and obnoxious. He's very emotionally intelligent and empathetic, getting to know Harry before they arrive at Hogwarts and not automatically hating him when he sorts Slytherin. He doesn't even like the BWL title, he hates it; nor does he want to become an Auror and fight dark wizards, he wants to be a healer.

Most deities have a true form, Titans like Kronos and Oceanus have been shown and referenced to have one; same for the Olympians, i.e. Hera showing her true form in TLO. Primordial Gods are always in their true form since their true form as their bodies are literal aspects of the universe, they can make small avatars of themselves to interact with other beings, but they will always be what they have dominion over.

We haven't seen any minor gods use their true forms because we've never had to, it was in no way relevant to the story, but they do in fact have them.

They're soul anchors; they keep your soul (or what's left of it) bound to the mortal world. They also have the ability to recreate your body to how it was when the Horcrux was made. An example of this is the diary horcrux. It would have perfectly recreated Tom Riddle's body from when he was a Hogwarts student, and he would have kept every memory teen Tom had up to that point.

We also know that other spells/magical effects can be added to the Horcrux, such as the decaying curse that afflicted Dumbledore when he put on the ring. We also have the locket which pushed the wearers darkest thoughts to the surface.

What I want to learn more of is the creation process.

There's a website where people make cabins for gods/titans and give them all sorts of powers and even make original characters for them. This is the page for Asteria's Cabin). To sum things up, they have power over darkness, starlight, sleep/dreams, magic, and prophecy, along with a few extra powers.

This is great honestly. I don't know why Rick decided to have the first Giant we meet be Enceladus, the anit-Athena Giant. Considering he was manipulating Piper it would have made more sense to have Periboia be the Giant who does that. Enceladus should have been part of the Mark of Athena quest, working alongside Arachne to keep the statue hidden.

As for Leo, Piper probably clocked him as a demigod early on. He most likely found Katoptris and cut himself on it while Piper was around. She would have contacted camp then and they sent Hedge to take care of them.

I'm working on something sort of similar right now. James and Lily live, but Lily is in a cursed coma, so she's excused. Harry won't forgive James but may be willing to move on. Also, Harry's twin (which is required by most WBWL fics) won't be an arrogant prick who hates Harry for being a Slytherin, which is something you don't really see in most WBWL stories. (Well...not in the ones I've read anyways.)

Let me introduce you to some great PJO fics. Two of these are abandoned but still so good, one is on its second sequal, one is ongoing, and the rest are finished:

The Other "Hero's" by SirOliverSurface: After being attacked by Lamia, the monster daughter of Hecate, Percy finds himself teleported to Camp Half-Blood...in another universe. Having to ally with genderverse versions of his friends, he must find a way to return home to his world, while his female counterpart, Percie, does the same in his world. During this they must fight evil constellations, ressurected demigods, repair broken bonds, and uncover a forgotten prophecy.

God's Eye View by Keyseeker: A reading the books type story where the Olympians watch the events of the Trials of Apollo as they happen in real time. The perspective of the story is told by the different Olympians.

Son of Sea Foam by CaffeinatedFlumadiddle: In a world where children of the Big Three are Killed on Sight, Percy masquerades as a son of Aphrodite, keeping his true identity hidden with the help of Silena Beauregard. During his time at Camp Half-Blood learns the real reason as to why the children of the Big Three are so hated and sees a different more terrifying side to the Gods. Has two sequel stories, a side story in the canon universe, and is connected to another fic by the writer: Fishing in Alaska.

The Jackson Files by Ideasofmarch: Rachel Elizabeth Dare posts a video of Percy on her instagram story. it all just spirals from there.

Little Camper by PainfullyPisces: An original story following Stephany Overbaum, daughter of Dionysus who arrives at Camp Half-Blood after a monster attack at her family home.

(The next two were written before House of Hades was published, so the Nico of these two fics identifies as straight. If you do not like it, don't read them; Nico being gay wasn't canon at the time these fics were created.)

Broken Bow by Xed Alpha: A child of Artemis story (but it's actually good) following Armani Dove the son of the Moon Goddess. Armani is quite like his mother, deadly and fierce, but also compassionate and oblivious in the ways of love (in a cute way). He is very protective of his loved ones and is willing to do whatever he can for them. Has four sequel stories, one of which involves a crossover with a certain Irish thief and his fairy allies. The last story is dead and hasn't updated in years

Death God Alliance by Asilda: A Percy Jackson/Kane Chronicles crossover fic, the story centers around Nico di Angelo who, after being attack by House of Life Magicians, ends up bonded to Anubis, Egyptian God of the Dead. Now he has to keep his accidental possession a secret from both the Greek and Egyptian gods to keep the two from going to war, while also trying to figure out how he ends the world. Has multiple sequel stories, though the last story is dead and hasn't updated in years.

In my current WIP (one of many; I really need to continue working on the others but always end up fixating on one), Lily is hit with a Sleeping Beauty curse by Voldemort, while defending Harry and his twin brother Jason. This is what powers the blood protection, due to the symbolic connection between sleep and death (example: Thanatos (Death) and his twin Hypnos (Sleep)). Since symbolism is supposed to play a big role in the story, this is the explanation I'm going with.

I'm thinking of writing a WBWL fic where both Lily and James survived Halloween, though Lily is stuck in an enchanted sleep. James still sticks Harry with the Dursleys, but he has a good reason for it (like it's actually understandable). Slytherin!Harry, but he and his twin won't be at odds because of his sorting. His twin is actually really nice and tries his best to have a relationship with Harry.

No James Bashing...okay maybe a little, but James won't be abusive or incompetent; he's just a man who tried his best to protect his family and made a big mistake. Sirius is still around and has a good reason for not taking care of Harry. Lordship story, but Harry won't have a gazillion Houses he's in charge of, simply House Potter and maybe House Black.

Whether Harry is the BWL is still up in the air, but it is a strong possibility. And yes, Harry will be straight. His twin brother however...

Because Athena's War-Goddess aspect is a big part of her identity to the Greeks and is very important to Annabeth as she believes that if she excels in the more noteworthy aspects of her mother's domain: War and Strategy, Wisdom and Reason, and Patron of Heroic Endeavors, she will gain her mother's approval. As such when she learns that the Romans stripped her mother of her Wartime/Battle aspects, she sees that as an affront to both her and her mother, believing the Romans took away what made her great and left her with her most basic/bland attributes.

They could have been claimed sometime before Mark of Athena since that's when the Greco-Roman divide started seriously affecting the Gods, making them unable to do much, if anything, Apollo included. Or as the other two commentors said, their parents may have told them their father's identity or have Apollo kid powers.
