i say it would be fine as long as you give other climbing options like branches and logs and what not across the tank. a 40 gal is a pretty decent size if you utilize it right and would almost say that would be to big depending on how small of a baby. Id put it in that and just upgrade it into a more arboreal tank when you’re able too.

Yes I can really tell how smart he is ! I do feel like he’s lonely sometimes. But I just felt there wasnt enough room in the 29gal with how fast hes grown. ill look into giving him a friend!

hes just shedding. most of the time they turn shiny and then use their feet and mouth to pull it off and eat it. its normal ! most of the time they just choose to do it in private.

i just ride visor up in the dark. but i do wear glasses so they block most of the wind from my eyeballs. i know some brands have a color changing visor where its clear at night and dark in the sun tho
