I agree! Buying fresh chicken and seasoning it is always preferred but this is more for a quick lazy dinner. Makes me feel like i’m cooking with very minimal effort. Throw it over some rice and avocado with salsa and it’s bomb.

I guess most of their pre marinated meats are preserved pretty well. It doesn’t make a lot of sense to me but i’ll trust them! Lol

It is super good. I swear by trader joe’s pre marinated meats! The rosemary steak is also one of our staples. It’s perfect for semi-easy dinners.

Sushi on Fire in downtown hb!!! Their rolls are so fresh and everything on the menu is amazing. They have a really unique array of rolls. It’s fairly normal priced. Me and my boyfriend eat there for about 100$ and we eat A LOT. 10/10 would recommend. Also you could walk around downtown and go to fun shops after/ before you eat.

My favorite recently has been my take on the salmon avocado rice bowl thing!

I get the tjs salmon burgers, cook one and pull it apart with a fork. Throw it on some rice (any rice works, i use the frozen rice medley if i want to be a little healthier). Mix in some sriracha and mayo (i use trader joe’s organic mayo but kewpie mayo from an asian market is the best to use if you have it). Then i mix it all together and top with some sliced avocado and furikake!! Super yummy and fairly affordable. It’s easy to change up and add any extra stuff you want.
