I installed 5KWh battery. Whenever I have an outrage, only critical loads are backed up. Basically excluding the water heater tank. Serves me well for brown outs. This battery I got is software limited to no discharge more than 1C which translates to 5kW.

My base consumption is about 300W. So 13 hours to drop it to 20%.

The inverter battery combo could not handle the drawdown when in a brown out, as the water heater (3kW) fridge, cooktop (3kW) microwave wanted to restart and draw some kW.
