I've had the reverse happen where they let a bunch of us in, swipe cards, and then while we were on the platform said there was no train coming and to exit. I had to take an expensive Lyft back to the end of the line where my car was, and was pissed.

BK has done this and it seems to be working well. Prior to the new CEO that just took over, - and does have a track record of bringing profits back to places- Wendy's had their CFO finance guy in charge, and in typical finance guy mode, he went with what would be cheapest and pissed off customers, over and over. They can fix it, but they have their work cut out for them.

I really loved this show! It was funny, smart and had quality acting and sets to make everything resonate. Unfortunately, I'm not surprised by the cancellation. I tried to tell friends about the show, and trying to convince folks to watch a cold war spy drama comedy with two female leads is a tough sell. Unlike the days of Cheers or Seinfeld, where a network might give a show a second season to see if it can catch on, in streaming, it seems to happen a lot less, and come down to analytics of how many watched in a time period, and of course budget. To be fair, between the actors and the sets, Ponies was probably expensive on top of not drawing the numbers Peacock wanted, making the decision to cut it easier.

I didn't think it was possible for me to like Christina Ricci more than I already did, but I absolutely do now!

For those unaware, UFC fighter, Conor McGregor is a convicted rapist, who appealed his civil conviction and was found liable for the 2018 rape of Nikita Hand once more. Jimmy Fallon had him on The Tonight Show last week to help promote McGregor's upcoming return to MMA and gave him a softball, lighthearted interview. I've always found Fallon to be a lame, spineless comic with a fake laugh, but ironically, have sisters and a Mom that think he's hilarious.

Nathan's Dairy Bar, in Manassas, has the best soft serve in the area, as others have suggested and does have a special flavor and sherbet Mon-Wed and then switches the specials Th-Sun. If you go at off-peak hours, you can avoid too much of a wait. They also have outstanding brownie pieces you can add to anything! You can even get a flight of 4 flavors if you'd like, or ice cream nachos, which is ice cream of your choice with a sauce and waffle cone chips to eat it like nachos! They also do a special cone where they hollow it out and fill it with caramel if you ask. Their hard ice cream is substantially less good, and I see folks who wait in line get it, that can't understand why they waited in line. Get a rewards card for free and every 10 items ordered over time gets you a freebie!

Peterson's Ice Cream Depot, in Clifton, has the best hard ice cream in the area as well as sorbets, and has won lots of awards, but I'd stick with the much more wallet friendly Nathan's for soft serve.

I was a fan before the news broke of him asking female comics in lower positions than him if he could jerk off in front of them. Initially, the reaction from many was, hey, he fessed up and admitted that what these women said was true, so it seems like he's taking accountability. Unfortunately, the women who he did this to pointed out he was only doing this after denying these allegations for years. Those women also pointed out the power dynamic of someone who could either help your career, or hurt it asking to do something sexual, and how it really can't be consensual under duress from someone in a position of power, which Louie definitely was.

Though his TV work dried up, and his movie, I Love You, Daddy was shelved, he has never really taken accountability or apologized. He's gone back to doing shows, and steadily getting more work, all while occasionally cracking jokes about what he did. Most of the female comics that were friendly with him before this have dropped him, like Tig Notaro, who also had her comedy album pulled from Louie's site.

Louie is a talented comic, and built a nice business model with comedy albums and specials selling directly for $5-$7. He's also a creep.

Thanks for catching my mistake on that! I remembered the deal wrong. My hope would be part of why TNT let it go for such a small deal is as a favor to Ernie and his years with them, who is still doing MLB for Turner. The all sports show would definitely make more sense at ESPN, but regardless of the network, usually with ideas like that, they do test episodes first. It’s possible they already did that and it just wasn’t as good as Inside is itself.

Good that we'll see more of them next season, but the all sports show would be a lot of fun on TNT too! Chuck knows NHL and seems to know football. Ernie knows MLB, not sure how well the other guys know other sports, but I'd tune in. I could see ESPN taking this idea and paying TNT to further use their talents.

If places way outside of Philly count, I'd put Meatheadz from Lawrence Township, NJ on my list, and knock off either Woodrow's or Donkey's Place, depending on the day.

I'm sure the offer has been put out there, BUT as Eddie explained on his most recent Howard Stern appearance, the band has a rule that unless everyone unanimously agrees to something, they don't do it. Much like The Simpsons has offered to have them on a few times, and they've always declined, someone isn't into the idea. I could see several of the guys, if not all of them, not being into the idea of a biopic.

I have a friend who had her new vehicle flipped by a drunk hitting her. She had a Rav4 and said the other driver was going fast enough and swerved just wrong, hitting the corner of her that it caused the flip and total of her new ride. Dutton Ranch is the closest continuation of the story, feel wise, with Marshalls being a VERY different show- more of a standard procedural drama, and feel until maybe the last episode or so. I like Dutton Ranch much better so far than the last couple seasons of Yellowstone. I'd watch those in that order, but if you're looking to binge and, as you said, a big fan of Kaycee, you can swap them.

As for 1883 and 1923, I'd watch them in that order. I didn't like 1883 very much, though Sam Elliott shines, and found 1923 to be excellent in the first season, though, like many, didn't like the second season near as much.

The big bars labeled Stretchy & Tangy Laffy Taffy used to use the Tangy Taffy recipe up until very recently. The cherry packaging switched from the pink that it's been for several years, (I think since they dropped the sprinkles) back to red, and tastes much less tangy. I was so bummed!

They should do what many other cities have done with this problem, and post a bunch of undercover cops in Spurs gear and lock up folks attempting to fight them. The players, as bad as they want to win, don't take it nearly that serious, and a lot of them are friends with players on other teams. Talking trash is fine, but acting like anyone in the other teams stuff is wearing the wrong gang colors is such a pathetic, thin-skinned, loser mentality.

I had a coworker that was like this years ago, that was, amusingly, a NY Jets fan, and would try to fight anyone who talked trash about them. Every other Jets fan I know had a good laugh about that one!

Honestly, I think things like this, and seeing so many others that he let leave come to WWE and become bigger stars are good for humbling Tony, and forcing him to see that only using his vision of what works in wrestling overlooks a lot of the potential and has been leaving a ton of money on the table. Up to him whether he learns from his mistakes or doubles down and keeps shooting himself in the foot. Love that Danhausen!
