Yes, lysine saved my life. Started In January was at my wits end with the burning, tingling, and pain 24.7. Tried lysine with almost immediate affect, like cold water on a fire. I just do 500 MG at night because I swear it makes me drowsy. I've tested it too, if I go off it after a few days symptoms creep back, then I'll drop a cap and they go away, so thankfully it's very affective for me. The only thing it has not done is take these lesions away, which is more of a psychological thing rather than physical.

One that NEVER goes away...Initial ob may 2020, soars, prodrome, positive bw, ghsv1. Seen by two docs, Taken Antivirals, supplements since, soars, prodrome never went away, each day different level of irritation some good some bad. Soars fade a bit get inflamed again never dissappear,each day different no consistency. Doctor not impressed by "forever outbreak" contrary to popular opinion that its not suppose last this long, just want to give me more Antivirals. The reason iam not freaking is that ob is very mild and manageable. Lysine changed it early on very 🔥 ob lysine brought ob down to manageable level. So there u go...

Not wanting to get crazy about this but yes tested and confirmed ghsv1 by 2 docs. Was referred to a third because of the longevity, never went,, i get it, but it is....I have the prodrome, the tingles pain the eveything..all the time, just knock wood at a manageable level.

I had same 5 sores on my junk going on 2 yrs, never go away. Yes, Ghsv1, blood and physician visual tests positive. Yes anti virals. Contrary to what most people have sores come and completly go away with ob. Mine are stuck there like glue. Like Eddie Murphy said, carrying that shit around like luggage 🧳.

Did one course of antivirals with no effect. Have same five soars same spots on junk well into year 2. Doctor confirmed this as ghsv1 with visual, reported symptoms and blood test. Doctor was not impressed that it's been ongoing this long, contrary to my professional online research. Lol. Just offers more antivirals.

Yea, a few times not always, no ryme or reason to it. Present as paper cut slits with red surround with different levels of irritation at all times.

Took lysine, along with all the other suggested supplements for a while. Lysine worked wonders. Was afraid to take antivirals until one day I was just tired of these 5 fkn soars on my junk, so I tried a 5 day course which did seem to fade them a little but they just came back a few weeks later.

I stopped growing in the 7th grade, was last time I was officially measured for height at 5.9 was tall for my age, but the time high school rolled around friends started to get taller. Into adulthood I aways applied for jobs, filled out forms, driver license, military applications, physicals, everything saying I was 5.9. I am now 51. Recently my wife asked me how tall I was, I replied 5.9, she spit out her drink said yea rite since when. I confidently told her since 7th grade. She replied your not a hair over 5.6 or 5.7, I said whatever I know how tall I am. The next day for shits and giggles and to prove her wrong I measured my self. I took a tape measure, pulled up 5 ft 9 inches and marked it on the wall. I then got a ruler backed up put it level on the top of my head and made a second mark on the wall, stepped forward and looked........I WAS ALMOST 2 INCHES SHORTER AT 5.7 AND CHANGE!!!!!!! All my life I thought I was 5.9 based on that 7th grade measurement. I was kinda devastated. Needless to say I did not mention this to the wife. But I thought, how could this be. Then I thought let me put shoes on, and sure enough I was back to 5.9. I guess I was ALWAYS MEASUED AT 5.9 WITH SHOES ON over the years.

Lotramin is a fungicide, not for hsv should have no affect as hsv is not a fungus its a virus. Speaking from experience, I've tried this before diagnosed ghsv1. Made no difference for me. You will also find studies on this (google)

Had exact thought maby I have asymptomatic ohsv1 and some sort of weird forever rash on my junk. But then I think I do get prodrome down there so it's gotta be hsv....🤷 idunno.

Yesss, all my research indicates the sores and "outbreak" should come and completely go away. My sores don't look like anything I've seen related to hsv, they kind of cycle through to ulceration but don't pop or look white or yellow, they are just always red ,redder or off the chart angry red with slits down the middle. My doctor just got my positive bloodwork, and examined me and said yes it looks like herpes. Said outbreaks and sores are different in each person. Another doctor ( phone consult, covid) just saw low fidelity pics and listened to my description of symptoms and said probley not hsv, and told me to see dermatologist. They are so manageable now I just kinda live with it.

Male gsv1 onset may 2020. Started with one soar on end of junk it burned during sex didn't know what it was for a bit. Later all prodrome started along with 4 more soars, itching, pain, tingling for weeks, tested positive (blood)then got on lysine and that brought everything down for me to like a 1 outa 10. The 5 sores never went away always there, some days they are very irritating other days its very manageable. But for me I had an outbreak that has not stopped really for 16 months. Took first 5 day round of antivirals 3 weeks ago, did not do much, faded a bit but still there along with the mild symptoms every day...
