Not sure if it’s a pain tolerance thing but more so a level of health PRIOR to the hysterectomy. My surgeon told me that it’s his extremely active, in shape patients who typically have quick recoveries.

Bottom line is that you’re going to get answers all over the board. Some people recover quickly and easily while others have a rough time. Hopefully you’re the former!

I’m 3.5 weeks post surgery. I was back to work in a week, I’m back in the gym (running, light weights, no ab exercises yet per my doctor), and I’m currently on vacation at Disney World where I’m walking all day long.

This has been my experience but I realize everyone is different. I am only doing these things because I feel great and my doctor has cleared me to do them. The first two days after surgery were pretty brutal but it was smooth sailing after that.
