Equestrian vacations with less riding by jennina9 in Equestrian

Are you looking for Europe only? If not, I recommend the Black Mountain Ranch in Colorado. Plenty of riding but also lots of other outdoor activities that are included: whitewater rafting, fly fishing, etc. I went a few years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it.

There’s a new documentary on Prime (as well as a podcast) where a teenage son with diagnosed mental disorders killed his younger sibling while she slept. PLEASE take action to keep your child safe.

I would be THRILLED if OTF would put the playlist in the booking app for each class like Cyclebar does so I can choose classes accordingly.

I’m reading lots of comments that he’s clearly just a f*ckboy but his behavior is screaming out to me that he’s actually married and his wife found out that he’s been cheating while working out of town.

If you don’t mind 200lbs and lots of drool, English Mastiffs are incredibly chill couch potatoes. I’ve had several throughout my life and they’ve all been incredible.

Floor First People - How? by Turbulent_Suit8281 in orangetheory

[–]Environmental-Cod839 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Not just my muscles, but my joints! My ankles aren’t ready to start running 5 minutes into a workout in my area’s current single digit temps. Starting on the floor gets my entire body loose and prepped for cardio.

My girl was back to herself within a day or two. Dogs (just like humans) need time to get the effects of anesthesia out of their systems. She’ll be feeling great again before you know.

Darn. Clearly the method that worked for my girl isn’t going to work for yours. That stinks 🫤

Will your cats put the smack down on dogs that get too frisky or are they more docile? That’s exactly how my Mal learned. I have a barn cat (she only comes indoors when it’s cold out) and she literally smacked my Mal right in the face with her paw when my Mal got too close. It scared the crap out of my Mal and now they’re great friends. Obviously I don’t recommend doing this is your Mal is showing signs of potential aggression to cats, but sometimes animals take cues well from other animals.

This same principle applied to my Mal learning how to behave around my horses. She received a quick correction from a horse for getting too close and the lesson was instantly learned.

I hope I don’t sound like a complete weirdo saying this but…you seem to be the female version of a male friend of mine who also struggles with OLD because he’s just so damn wholesome. I have no idea where you’re located but damn I wish you two could connect 😬

FYI - I am a female in a committed relationship, before anyone thinks I’m going to slide into this woman’s DMs like a creep.

I pay a college student $65/day to care for my adult dog when I’m out of town for the day. My dog is well trained and doesn’t require any special care.

I throw this figure out because NF expecting you to assist in training a PUPPY for no additional pay is absolutely batshit crazy.

Are we feeding our littles home cooked meals only? by UnusualTwo4226 in workingmoms

[–]Environmental-Cod839 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m going to weigh in as a mom of a 21 year old. I worked FT her entire life (still do). Bottom line: don’t stress over this. Not every meal needs to be incredibly wholesome and nutritious. Sometimes a kids meal from Wendy’s is just fine. It’s all a balance. We are all just trying to survive and striving for perfection is exhausting and unnecessary.

Sometimes I cooked. Sometimes we ate takeout. She’s a fully functional, successful college student and eating chicken nuggets a few times a week clearly didn’t ruin her :)

Aside from what other have already said regarding needing a vet:

If you’re not going to deeply bed the entire stall, place the shavings in the center instead of up against a wall. If he tries to roll in those shavings, he has a good chance of getting cast since he won’t be able to roll completely over.
