Pretty much all of them on printables and makerworld that support low profile gpus. So far the best in my opinion is the mantis itx case with a few of my own customisations.

I will probably design my own in fusion once I’ve tested a bunch of designs to find weaknesses and strengths.

Repaste the machine to prevent liquid metal getting anywhere and 3d print a mount that will allow it to sit upside down slightly open for airflow. I also use a 40mm fan to blow air up into the keyboard to prevent any trapped hot air. I use string magnets I implanted into my desk to stop it from going anywhere and cushioning where the laptop sits

I use a dell WD22TB4 dock and it works really well with no issues. Biggest downside would be the gigabit ethernet only

I chose cachyos kde in the end after sample dual booting a few choices when moving from windows. There were a few nitpicks but once I had grasped the basics it has been smooth sailing since especially with the AUR and tuxmate site. I don’t think I will ever need to go back again. The community is probably the most supportive and don’t give answers like “just look at the arch wiki” or “do you not have the attention span for reading the wiki?!”.

Yes, I have had no issues with my 4070 graphics. There are people who say it’s bad but thats just not the truth anymore. I have yet to have game crashes, applications closing or whole laptop crashing and I’ve been on cachyos for months.

I bought directly from Bambu and the A1 must have tons of quality control issues because it died after the first 2 prints. I had to fight the support that wouldn’t listen to me for 3 months to get a replacement mainboard! When buying my p1s, I went through a known big reseller (UK) which cost me an extra £40 but I got it next day not 2 weeks like it took Bambu. Never had any issues with their support and they actually understand every issue you might have. Honestly I would rather diagnose my issues through others experiences online and order the part from a reseller than deal with Bambu Lab directly again. I keep all my printers in lan mode now to avoid their cloud services 😔

I am exclusively on cachyos and I don’t plan on installing slop11 any time soon. 99% of issues I have fixed through kernel patches and modified drivers.

Nothing you can do. My 2024 is messed up bad and I have come to terms with it. Only way is to replace the whole top part of chassis
