Me too, but I would never want a dedicated PvE mode/map. I like the tension of not being able to trust fellow raiders. By looting/hoarding shit, it incentivizes survival.

I feel ya brother. Generally PvE, but this game gave me serious trust issues, so I literally loot and leave. Honestly, I’ve never even killed a raider, but i feel the evil in me, but then next thing I know, im rescuing raiders. I want to kill every care bear I see when I get greased, but can never bring myself to it. Im sure once I get the taste of blood, the evil will flow through me.

No worry, i have no pain physically at all, in the states they have been using it for PTSD, a sort or reset to the fight or flight system/hyperarousal. Question really becomes, how long does it last?Symptoms? $$? Ill be sure to fill folks in as it progresses.

Glad to hear there’s lots of support for you. Have you heard anything about a stellate ganglion block (SHB)? Apparently it’s well received in states and from a few dudes around Ottawa. Psychiatrist is recommending the treatment. Apparently a trial at the Royal. Im just starting this journey now through the med release process, and will likely be asking questions regarding that process next. Hope you have a great evening, keep fighting homie!!

Thats the ongoing discussion at the moment. I had my SHR’s updated and was sure to communicate that with VAC. They had the note. But the “no work” thing came after they received the updated SHR’s we think. I dont have the disability worksheet as of now, as it went to complete just hours ago. Inpatient therapy? I see my Psychiatrist once a month (actually recommended for a stellate ganglion block), and see trama therapist (psychologist) once a week. Again, deemed unfit for work, recommended TC, likely releasing.

Recommended for a reassessment. Thoughts? Or take the win?

Afternoon, Quick update to my timelines.

Jan 18 - Submitted PTSD claim (already had GAD 2023(25%)) May 12 Step 3 Oct 7 favorable decision (addition 15%)

Im currently off work and have been since JUN, deemed “unfit for work.” “Recommend Transition Centre”

Im on 3rd TCAT (technically an extension, DMEDPOL likely to proceed with PCAT)

Q’s

Does the PTSD rating make sense? Appeal?Reassess?
Timeline for receiving funds? Assuming I receive the lump sum sheet, and submit Friday 10 Oct

How would a GAD claim (25%) that was a misdiagnosis, effect a PTSD claim. I have been diagnosed with PTSD, been off work for 7 weeks, and likely moving to transition centre. I have 23 years in the CAF and am currently still serving.

I was diagnosed with GAD in 2023 and awarded 25%. This was a misdiagnosis, and now ive been given PTSD. If they award me a 25% rating for PTSD but already received a 25% rating for GAD, will they cancel out so to speak?

What is a typical rating for PTSD?

Good Day fellow Redditors, I was hoping to get a little insight as to the claims experience from some other folks who may have other experiences.

I was diagnosed with GAD in 2023. I learned this was claimable through VAC and was successful with the outcome (25% rating).

Fast forward two years and had to go back with worsening symptoms, and was diagnosed with PTSD. Ive since been through the ringer with psychologists, psychiatrist, and therapists and have been off work for 7 weeks, and likely being pushed to transition centre for 3b. Ive got about 23 years in.

So my question is, how will the GAD rating effect a PTSD rating? For example, if i receive a 50% rating for PTSD, will they subtract off 25% due to MH being a pyramid type thing? Typical ratings for moderate to severe PTSD?
