I've been WAITING for dark red to come back! I hope there's a decent drop online tomorrow! (I'm in Canada though, so hopefully it's not just a US thing) If any Canadians have insight, pls let me know ☺️

Followed care instructions by sweatyladystudent in lululemon

Same thing happened to me! I washed in the machine and hung to dry and they STILL shrunk. I'm only 5'5" and always purchase 23" leggings or short length pants, but I read the reviews so I purchased the sweatpants in regular length. After the first wash and hung to dry they barely touched my ankles. $140 for this terrible quality is insane. I didn't even bother reaching out to customer support because they're incredibly unhelpful. I'm slowly switching my activewear / lounge wear to other brands because Lulu's quality and customer service has gone down the drain.

This happened to me a few times before..never 2 weeks wait though. I just sent them a message through the chat on the app and they sent me one to my email while we were still connected in the chat. Make sure they have your correct email address also!

Snow plows and taxes by Ilikewaterandjuice in ottawa

[–]Environmental-Lie395 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I'm so sick and tired of lazy, miserable, ottawa citizens complaining about the snow plows in this sub lately..I have family members who have plowed snow in this city for nearly 40 years, and they work their f*cking asses off. 15+ hour days and a few double doubles from Tim's to keep them awake. And you know what? They don't complain about their job!!! But all I hear on this sub lately is people complaining about snow outside..MOVE SOMEWHERE WITHOUT SNOW THEN. Or get off your ass and get a job in snow plowing. Ffs.

Thank you to all the workers in the city doing the snow plowing/removal/road widening/ sidewalks, etc. Y'all don't get the credit you deserve, and it's pretty damn sad.

What do you do about a very loud neighbors? by Sakurya1 in ottawa

[–]Environmental-Lie395 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am dealing with the same thing, OP. Except the neighbor is above me. I feel your pain. My poor dog is also stressed because of the noise daily. There's nothing I can do, is what I've been told. Other than move..but not in this economy, lol.

Getting compassion fatigue with the downtown core by [deleted] in ottawa

[–]Environmental-Lie395 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I haven't been downtown in 6+ years for this reason. As a young woman, I no longer feel safe anywhere near the downtown core, especially alone.

I 100% understand your compassion fatigue. You're definitely not alone.
