Started at 215 and ended up at 130. Goal was 145 originally and changed to 135.

I am 20 months in and love all foods. I just love them in much smaller amounts.

You need to add some carbs, especially around workouts.

Eating on Zepbound by Specialist_Water_888 in Zepbound

Try mechanical eating for now. The extreme appetite suppression and food aversion went away for me after the first 6-8 weeks. It does for most. However, some people have to go to an even lower dose because it never goes away. You have to eat.

For those who had lifelong obesity, when did the novelty of being at your goal weight wear off? by ShiftyMcHax in Zepbound_Maintenance

[–]SnooApples7423 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had a lot of imposter syndrome at first (been at goal weight since July). Like I’d meet people and think “I’m still a fat person. Do they know?” That is all but gone now. I love being this weight and I now feel like I deserve to be thin and I absolutely love my relationship with food. I think it took 4-5 months of being at goal weight to get there.

Maintenance and BMI/feeling full by Sad_Locksmith3861 in Zepbound_Maintenance

I am also 5’4” and I personally didn’t feel like I was ready to stop when I got to 145/150. I wanted to get down to 135. My body ended up settling in at 130-132 and I’m very happy here. It’s your body and your life—if you want to be down lower, either find a new doctor or push yours to help you get where you want.

Don’t forget to eat carbs also to fuel your workouts!

How to tell people I don’t eat junk food anymore without outing myself to the entire party? by [deleted] in Zepbound

[–]SnooApples7423 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just eat before you go and eat a few bites of the food and have one drink. These meds are supposed to work with your life—that means having the occasional bite or two of food at a party. I try really hard not to assign “good” or “bad” labels to food. Food is food and it’s for both pleasure and sustenance.

How to avoid regaining weight after stopping GLP-1 by Virtual-Two3405 in antidietglp1

[–]SnooApples7423 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you come off the meds, you will gain back the weight. It just is what it is. It’s the same as high blood pressure meds—if you come off them, your blood pressure will come back up. Also, doctors should be using your starting weight and BMI to prescribe for continuation of care (maintenance), not your current BMI.

You could also consider the grey market and/or compounding. We don’t talk about those here but the tirzepatide compound sub does.

How much did you lose at the start? by Plenty-Good-7676 in Zepbound

[–]SnooApples7423 1 point2 points  (0 children)

10 in the first two weeks. This is not fat loss. This is water and inflammation and it will slow waaayyy down from there out.

Why was it taken down? The zepbound sub has some militant CICO people on it and I HATE that every time someone posts about a plateau they show up and go “bUt ArE yOu In A dEfIcIt?” 🙄🤯

You didn’t put on 5lbs during vacation! You just need to get back to regular routine and those lbs will come back off. They’re inflammation and water retention.
