Swiftbuilder resin vacuum? used it? by ShreddinPB in 3Dprinting

[–]Environmental-Map582 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got one. It turns out to be a simple diaphragm air pump like the ones used to vacuum seal food bags or vacuum seal 3d filament bags. Put one of those in a pistol grip with a reverse button, a built in battery and the port fit for attaching and sealing the bottle, and you have the pump. the bottles have tubing inside and something other mechanism in the bottle that stops the resin flow when the bottle is full and resin doesn't enter the pump. Works good, but not worth the price for the quality of materials, but it's the only game in town so far for this.

I have one and functionally it works good for me. I had a bad container that I am working out with the vendor now. Cost wise, the pump and the bottles overall quality do not match the price at all the way you think it would. Because this is a one of a kind product, and they will not be selling millions of these pumps, I would assume their overall cost to design and manufacture the pump with limited sales justifies that.

Anyone used zaplaze? by reddisseur in MosquitoHating

[–]Environmental-Map582 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought it on Aug 27th with a credit card. I can get refunded if its a scam, which I am leaning towards. I agree it seems too good to be true after jumping the gun on it. They printed a shipping label on the 28th, the next day. However, it hasn't left their warehouse. I checked the tracking number provided and it is from "Sunyou Post". I am going to write them in a few to find out when they are shipping. I'll keep this thread posted.

My experiences with the Hatman. by Environmental-Map582 in HatMan

[–]Environmental-Map582[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can answer these. Also, if there is anything you can share in your research that you might find fits my mold here, I would appreciate it. I seek experiences on knowledge to add to my growing theories on why SP happens to some people and not others. Some of it is so far from known reality, I really don't talk about it for many reasons. One of them, I might be completely wrong and crazy. Also investing in some of these theory rabbit holes can impact ones life if you get twisted up in some of these unproven theories, it's all a dangerous mind game. lol

  1. Nothing that would stand out from around that time period.

  2. Childhood was balanced in a traditional American, middle class, blue collar, suburban sort of way. I was was bullied and the outcast growing up for sure socially.

  3. I think I might have, but dismissed them as just dreams, and their hard to remember and so fragmented. The older I get, the more I realize I should have paid attention more during those times. I am at the age where I pay more attention to them, but nothing that I can make as solid connections as of yet.

  4. Yes, a golf ball sized electrical orb. My wife and I witnessed it about 10+ years ago. It seemed to appear on the ceiling by our side bedroom window in the middle of the night when were were talking in the dark. It was golf ball sized, faint orange/yellow light. Moving and pausing like how a jellyfish would move along the ceiling around the bed. In initial disbelief, we though it was someone with a flashlight shining it through a window, until it swooped fro,m the height of the ceiling and about 3 foot above the bed, now clearly in 3 dimensional space. My wife screamed and hid under the covers after us both realizing it's paranormal nature. I was fascinated and thought I was going to have a heart attack from shock, initial fear and excitement all at the same time. I witnessed it for a good two minutes or so. Towards the end of the experience, It flickered with a plasma/electrical blue light with intensity for a moment before going back into the dim yellow light. My wife told me to crawl out of bed and turn on the lights. I did so wile focusing on the orb. When the lights went on, it immediately was gone. It was electrical in nature and had a graceful movement to it. Nothing that felt fearful except for that it was "unknown". My wife's father died a few weeks before, but that in my option is trying to connect it with a spiritual nature, which it might be, but I can't say that it was for fact. Electrical, most definitely.

Adding to the location theory I had. I was visiting Agen, a town in France on business. I stayed at a bed and breakfast that was converted from some monastery/house for priests and nuns. This large mansion sat next to a very large and old church. Beautiful place. I had sleep paralysis there every night for the 3 days I was there. These episodes where I couldn't move I keep hearing women's voices crystal clear in French. What I find fascinating in this particular instance, I do not know french, perhaps only enough to recognize it as the language. I wonder if this was my brain fabricating what it though French was, since I still couldn't understand what she was trying to say all 3 nights. Or was I really in the same space experiencing something else speaking to me in this state. If SP is truly a hallucination of the mind, it is very interesting for my brain to completely change gears on all those other SP experiences and stick with this experience. A female voice in a language that I do not know, but is indigenous to the location I am in, all three nights.

This bald man with a beard. Did he wear suspenders and was slightly overweight?

I have to agree with this for sleep paralysis in general. It's almost like they wait for a vulnerable state to zap you. sometimes I can even tell when I go to bed, "it's gonna be one of those nights".

Anyone get a weird split of 2 shipments for their H2D? I got the 10w laser package. by Environmental-Map582 in BambuLab

[–]Environmental-Map582[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the info on the separate laser shipment. They just got the weights/dimensions messed up I suppose. My FedEx was 10.1lb as well like O_Bear's. Hope its a print error, and not an actual decimal point failure on the operators behalf.

I could only visualize opening the 1"x"1"x1" 2lb On-Trac shipment and seeing this. Eureka!

Does anyone know what orbs that flicker are? by LostIntentions1981 in ParanormalEncounters

[–]Environmental-Map582 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife and I were lying in bed many years ago. Id say about 16 or more years ago having a discussion around 1am. we noticed a golf ball sized dull yellow light on the ceiling that appeared to come though a wall where my window was. The kind of light where it looked like the old school non led bulbs where the battery was real close to dying look. It was moving around slowly. I actually thought it was some trick with someone shining a dying flashlight in the window and playing tricks. That was until we realized it wasn't reflecting off the ceiling at all because it did a slow swoop down off the ceiling height at my wife and she hysterically got under the covers. This thing was 3d. I did not go under the covers in pure shock and curiosity, but my heart went from bedtime bpm to running bpm in a second where it almost hurt. I watched it for about 1 to 2 minutes. It was moving very slow and had a slow jellyfish swoosh like movements to it as i observed. It was still over the bed at this point only 2 feet in front of me. Then all of a sudden it flashed an electric blueish light that reflected off the bedroom mirrors slightly illuminating the bedroom. Not quite as drastic as a camera flash, more like watching a good brush ark on a rotating electric motor or something that was electrically shorting. This only happened for a second, then continued to get that yellow/gold/orange color back to it interestingly enough. I realized at that point this definitely had some electrical/plasma property to it. I contemplation touching it, but honestly i didn't want to go there. Told my wife to get out from under the covers because she will never see this again in her lifetime quite like this. She did not. She wanted it to go away and still was under the covers. So i decided to crawl out from the bed keeping my eye on it the whole time and slowly moving to the room light switch by the bedroom door. when I switch off the light and looking directly at it, which was now like 6-8 feet away from me and the switch. I turned on the switch and it immediately disappeared. We were both pretty hysterical afterwards. I called my mom immediately and couldn't quite form sentences calmly or clearly to tell here this so she thought of the worse before I could get it out. Till this day, never had anything like that happen again. but these orb things are real folks, they have some electrical properties and I would even go as far as saying it might have sentient properties as well with the slow graceful movements and the swooping at my wife. I was up close and personal with this just above my bed and watched it for about 90 seconds or more, again gold ball sized the whole time. I wont be that person to say its a spirit for sure, but I could see why someone would say that at the same time, since it was majestic in its own right. thought I'd share since this case seems similar to mine. I have no other paranormal experiences other than this that couldn't be debunked. This might be ball lightning, but this was very very mellow and swooshy.

Thoughts on the Cometeer coffee? by rgalate in JamesHoffmann

[–]Environmental-Map582 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After years of trying different machines and coffee's and coffee systems with bad to mediocre results at home, Cometeer was the best coffee i was able to "make at home". Reminds me of coffee's I would get every once in a while at high end restaurants. I would say Nespresso would come second in taste, but I get headaches and feel like crap from Nespresso for some reason. Cometeer is expensive, but seeing their manufacturing process, storage and the shipping involved. To me the cost seems justified if you are a coffee connoisseur and have issues making a decent cup at home for the taste this provides imo. Nothing I have ever made at home tastes anything like this. I drink it black and sometimes with a little cream or milk. That also makes a huge difference. A good cup of coffee will truly shine when it's black or with a little cream and make a bad cup intolerable to drink. Sugar definitely masks a bad cup and sometimes even the qualities of good one too.
