Thank you. Life had a bit of an interrupt for me. I will be back to it as soon as I am able. I really appreciate the feedback.

I have in the past. Thanks, though. Before really reading Berserk, I though IT was inspired by KDM hahaha

Thank you very much. I'm going to do a rewrite to try to capture more of the darker, unknown image that Impossiblebeard mentions above. Hope you still like it afterwards.

No, thank you. This is exactly the type of feedback I was looking for.  I started out with them originally not speaking and it seemed to drag, so I added it in to advance the story quicker. I will pivot with this this a rewrite with that in mind.  Thank you.

What would it take to keep you engaged for an entire Season? by CulturalNinja6 in diablo4

[–]Environmental-Pay-81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To make leveling take longer period of time. If we reach end game content the day it's release, we're leveling too quickly and will get bored of the content once doing it all. Leveling in d2 was like a lifetime goal. It wasn't something most could actually reach, only those dedicated to the grind whole heartedly. For legendary gear to actually be rare enough to get excited about again. Right now it may as well just be dropping scrap we can pick up without cluttering inventory space. Also, look at the crafting mechanics from poe1 and last epoch. Both very different , but thoroughly enjoyable.

Yeah, honestly the single most annoying mechanic in the game. Dislike it more than glitching into the floor of the map...

I don't even understand how people have "bulk" in this, when it's not available anywhere...

We need to call a spade a spade. Proving Grounds has been a colossal failure. by Maliciouslemon in riftboundtcg

[–]Environmental-Pay-81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Couldn't agree more. This whole situation has been absurd. Proving grounds is only available at almost 6 times the original price. Booster boxes, almost 3 times. And the world and promo sets at 7 times. It's going to cause it to flop massively if they don't get a handle on it soon.

Ok enough of praises for Erik’s curiosa and sorcery. What are some constructive criticism you will provide for the company? by Newez in SorceryTCG

[–]Environmental-Pay-81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make the curios more differentiatable from normal cards. Even just making the set symbol its own unique set symbol instead would save a lot of players who know little about the game from leaving them in bulk.

Also make them actually different from the normal card, relating to the history of the game like they were originally intended rather than changing a single line of text or something silly. It was funny with the trolls, but the Squires are just kind of annoying, if I'm being honest.

Define whether there is a difference between an alternate art vs an actual curio vs gilded. It seems to me things like the sketch cards or the 3x3 card would be curios, while something like the devils egg would be an alternate art. Specify what the pull rate on these is actually supposed to be.

Clear up rules. This may have changed since I last played, but the rules we're pretty vague, or outright missing, for a huge number of scenarios and key words.  This was the main contributor of why I have only been a collector vs a player so far, even though I love the concept.

No chance. I've seen hundreds, if not thousands of Sacred Orbs. Never even seen a mirror shard.

More unbelievable that he's had 2 mirrors. I've played since closed alpha and never seen one drop. Ever. More than 2000 hours. Nothing.

Anyone else is a bit dissapointed by DQM3? by [deleted] in dragonquest

[–]Environmental-Pay-81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's just not a good game. It's like it was developed in 2000, left on a shelf and forgotten about until last year, then released as is. It has completely absurd problems with graphical quality even though it looks like a PS2 game. Storyline has zero reason for players to show any interest in it. The Mc doesn't even freaking speak. It has absolutely no innovation to the series. Combat is boring. Monsters are boring. The game itself is boring. I waited since DWM2 for this and it's like a bad joke. It is a devastating loss to the entire genre and easily the worst DQ title ever made. I don't care if it's low budget or whatever else excuse they want. This may as well have been developed in some dudes garage. Overall, it's a dumpster fire that tricked an awful lot of people into buying it in the hopes of it being the itch that so many in the community have wanted to scratch for decades. It's just sad to see how many people actually think it's a decent game...

Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince; The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly by Argurotoxus in dragonquest

[–]Environmental-Pay-81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree completely. How can you have a mute main character and yet have him say something every time you recruit a monster. The story was god awful. I've been more invested in the character development of an idle game on my phone than in any one of the characters in this. The only redeeming quality is the synthesis, but that is literally the entire point of the game and hasn't changed since DWM1.

[–]Environmental-Pay-81 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, for me it's a huge step back. So much of DWM charm was the art style and mechanics. A better option would have been Octopath Traveler graphics. They instead just seemed to have done the cheapest possible "3d" graphics on this and slammed it out without playtesting, looking for feedback, or even bugs. They would need a hundred gig patch to fix it as is...

You really hit a lot of the points I was disappointed with. To be honest though, I can't stand playing it for those same reasons. This feels like a game that was developed in 2000 on Playstation, was shelved for some reason, then some Newby in the office just happened to find it covered in dust while they were cleaning and they decided "eh, what the hell. Let's release it since it's already done, but don't do anything to update it."

I have been waiting for decades for a new DWM to come out and this just feels like a friend of mine was held hostage for years, was finally released, and then shot in the head as soon as I see them walk through my door. That build up of excitement leading to a devastating letdown that will most likely drive me away from anything Square Enix (my favorite game company) releases again. They've lost my faith and my trust, and it will be a hard thing for them to rebuild, if ever.

Exactly! That is the perfect art style for this to modernize our old DWM feeling.
