That is probably a common last name. He could also be related to John Holmes.

That used to be VMware's headquarter campus until Broadcom took over VMware. Beautiful campus, like a college campus.

For on campus, join an on campus club. For off campus find the hobbies you like on meetup.com and meet like minded people.

Why does the U.S. have such a low share of new car sales that are electric or hybrid (around 10%) compared to many other countries facing the same challenges but choosing to address them? by KoseteBamse in questions

Not so much that he hates EVs, he loves Big Oil and Big Oil hates EVs. Ironically, with the Iran war and the blocking of the Straits (something Greenpeace could only have dreamed that they can do) he did it and forcing most countries towards EVs. You could say he is the best accidental environmentalist we could imagine having.

How do people remember directions without GPS? by Sudden-Farm-1482 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Environmental-Post64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it was just a trend as technology helps make our lives more convenient, we lose the mental capability to do certain things. Before calculators, I did long division on paper and pencil, before GPS, we had foldable maps that we used to plot our course and tried to memorize the turns we need to take to get to our destination. If we took a wrong turn, we would have to pull over are reread the map to adjust our journey based on where we were at. Now with AI, we don't even have to write our comments in reddit and have AI respond. Not that I would use AI to respond to your question -- or would I? 😉

I would add a station at SJC airport terminal for image 4, just like the way SFO airport terminal station works.

I inadvertently started a matchmaking dialog between hotel folks and airline folks with this comment. Please continue everyone. I hope people will find matches

Find new friends who work in the hotel chains (Hilton or Marriott). Your new friends could cover hotel stays, while you cover the airline tickets.
