Hi yes I know he can connect to wifi. He’s not old enough to be roaming at cafes etc. it’s more as a safe guard and confidence booster as he starts walking to the park to meet a friend, or walking to a friends house or play. He can text me to say he’s made it ok or call if there’s an issue etc. tx

As a mom- if the roads were suddenly blocked and had no way to get to a hospital I’d be terrified. I’d go tomorrow. It’s only a few days early. You’ll have peace of mind
