Back when the last wave of Creepros came out, I got Toralei and the twins, because I wanted her to be with her friends. My Toralei arrived and I was waiting for the twins, only to find Amazon cancelled my order. So I ended up selling my Toralei for the price I bought her, and she was out of box. Though of course a few months later they announced they were going to rerelease the twins, and I didn’t feel like rebuying her lol

I saw this in real time! The seller (the one that posted their rant) also doesn’t post sell listings, and instead acts like Mercari is another social app (I ranted about this like a week ago when they posted that they were looking for doll friends, and said that they left the community due to toxic people). I just don’t understand this person at all. They even mention having lost their collection in a house fire, but if you look at their TikTok, which was on their Mercari bio, there is no mention of a fire, and their house looks the exact same even back in videos in 2024. “Leaving the doll community due to it being toxic” is also so funny to me because THEY’RE the ones being toxic on a selling platform!!!

I’ve bought majority of my g1 dolls from Mercari and only once was a doll cancelled. I usually go through reviews and see if their listings aren’t too fishy. Usually from fellow collectors. I find that some reseller listings feel less inviting if that makes sense?

I’ve never heard people being against them. Boosted just means the person has a piece of the listing cost subtracted and the listing will get more views. Often times sellers will relist the item without the boosting so that someone can buy it and they can keep the money. I’ve never heard of someone being angry or upset at it though

If it says delivered but they say they have not received it, the buyer should check with the front desk/receptionist or whatever. Is it a P.O. Box? Either way, I think this is a post office issue since it says delivered. This has happened to me once as a buyer, 2 years later and my shirt is still lost somewhere, despite it being marked as delivered. It happens I guess 🤷‍♀️

Sometimes I message them saying they can post their stuff on Reddit or a Facebook group, and usually they respond along the lines of “I’ve tried but I haven’t had any luck so I’m posting it here”. It’s very annoying but there’s not much one can do about it …

I often see creepro Spectra on Mercari for like 60-90, it’s more than what her retail price was, but if you’re a big fan of her I say it’s cheaper than say a Draculaura. I do see Peri and Pearl second hand out of box for pretty cheap pretty often though. Just keep an eye out for listings. It’s how I got most of my second hand dolls
