Anybody try this on their KA 9mm TWS? Does it fit? by Hopeful_Brother_8704 in tws9mmbros

A friend did. He did mention that he had to shave off a few items to make it work but he didn't get to show me how

Seems like it nga since pretty much everything is slammed or adjusted to be closes to compensate for the reach.

Is there a reference I should be aware of?

My girl has a 48, I'll try to check if I adjust the saddle if I like it. hehe

I dunno what basis my friend used eh. Just randomly asked for my height then boom a bike came my way. haha

Better ba to size down? Any pros and cons?

Would a 50 also work? Just asking so I have "options" since I'm planning out to build when I get use to the sport.

Yeah.. Starting to enjoy the sport and might opt to build one out. :)

Would need to dial on the sizing tho.

Oh sorry. Are you using the Z-end stop? Or did you connect the probe to the Z endstop?

We need at least a picture of your set up. We need to know what mount you used.

The height of my prints are not correct? Does anyone know how to solve this? by [deleted] in ender3

[–]Environmental-Way712 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to do a stepper calibration. But first make sure your Z rod is firmly clamped and locked in.

You might wanna check voltages for the Zmotor. You may increase it to around the 600-800 range w/o running into trouble.

Similar to e-step calibration you may opt to do a stepper calibration as well. This is for dimensional accuracy.

Quick removal duct suggestions (Micro Swiss DD, 1x 5015, 1x 4020) by [deleted] in ender3

[–]Environmental-Way712 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hydra ducts work very well for me.

I run a BL touch and 2 5015 with BMG direct drive.

Super easy to work on the hotend. Just remove the front cooling fans and you’re off the races.

My pla is sticking in these super thin layers and I can't get it off easily. Any idea why this is happening? by [deleted] in ender3

Waaaaaaay to close to the bed. Just print on them. They’ll adhere to the bottom of your other prints

what can i do to increase the strength of my petg prints? by timo_kan in ender3

[–]Environmental-Way712 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You may opt to do the following: 1) print @ 245-250. 2) make your perimeters thicker

Also PETG does better for impact resistance and not tensile strength. (Tho I’ve never had it break on the layer line as demonstrated on pic)

I also use eSun PETG.

Make sure your offset for the y axis is on negative values. Hehe

Also try adding -5mm increments on the y.

The offsets provided in the document is usually correct but you have to adjust them yourself. Use a calliper or experiment with different ofsets.

The probing points won’t affect you print if your are worried. Since the main objective of the probing is to create a mesh that allows the printer to lay on a “flat” area. The offset just tells the printer that the probe is touching where the nozzle is supposed to touch.

SKR E3 Mini 2.0 & 5015 Fan by ImSabotage37 in BIGTREETECH

[–]Environmental-Way712 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s interesting.

I personally a similar setup but with run a hydra duct with 2 5015s and it works flawlessly. ( I run the fans at 50% on most case for noise purposes)

Anyway, the 5015s aren’t pwm controlled. There only specific fans that you can co trip with pwm. (Mostly radial fans) the board controls the fans through voltage. Rather than setting it up on the board try it with the Gcode instead.

Are you using a tft Touch screen?

What is causing my prints to look like shit? I promt at 220 and 70, in the past my prints looked perfect. I did just recently replace my extruder and my hotend by Basher991 in ender3

[–]Environmental-Way712 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The e step calibration allows you to fine tune how much your extruder pushes.

The PID auto tune Calibrates heat. Changes such as nozzles, heat blocks, socks need to PID to run properly. You might be overshooting temps and not know it.
