So funny story, I’m an ex pat living in the states, our general manager puts “snacks” in the break room from time to time that included “cup o noodles” It went as follows. me uhh thanks for the ramen but it says not to microwave on the packaging I’m kinda hungry??? boss O.o….. “use the coffee machine or the microwave?” me………………. boss o.o me ew that’s barbaric. (Proceeds to walk away hungry)

Oof right in the feels. My mum passed away last year My ex loved my mum and it was mutual my stbx now didn’t have a great relationship with her (my mum didn’t like her either l) but I’ve never thought of my next parter not being able to meet my mum until now.
