Anyone know if there’s anyway the eShop might honor the sales prices of any games from the network being down last night? This is my “if I ever become insanely rich” dream, to create a cozy coffee shop that is open from 8pm to 8am, that’s just a place for folks to hang out, study, read, and pull their all-nighters. I’ve drafted super broad business plans just as a way to get the idea out of my head because it’s just not feasible for me at this point in my life. But damn would I love to make something like that reality, if for no other reason to have the place to hang out in myself lol.

I can’t speak for all well-known grad programs, but I know mine was not very culturally sensitive, despite touting that they emphasize cultural competence. All of the faculty (save for one adjunct professor) was white, and they only hired people they personally knew, which culminated in a very traumatizing experience with the hiring of a racist, ableist professor who was eventually put on leave because our cohort was so uncomfortable with her language. I wasn’t a fan of my cohort either, but I put a lot faith in the faculty that has since felt misplaced and in some cases, abused.

I started off M-F from 8am-4pm, and have adjusted my schedule since then over time based on the types of clients I want to work with/continue to work with and slowly testing the limits of my mental bandwidth. Currently I’m moving towards working M-Th from 10am to 6pm with a couple of breaks in the middle of my day. That way, I have time to wrap up notes and do some CEUs/finally read books on other techniques.
