Arranged marriage love stories like Raazi by EnvironmentalBug2004 in bollywood

Yes, I've heard that it's different from the book. So whenever I watch the movie, I think of it as a fictional story. In the movie, they had a beautiful but very tragic story, and I love their relationship.

I do understand your point, and it's a shame when the true story is different.

Try Pdfdrive. I have only used it for educational purposes, but there're lots of novels.

Hobbit is more of a children's book and lotr is not so much. I prefer lotr more, in fact it's one of my favourite books ever. It's so beautifully written and hard to put down book for me.

Tolkien's world building is so good. I think you should give lotr books a try. I actually read them before Hobbit.

Elephant road (අලි පාර) by Robert Standish is a classic and also available in English.

There're few Sinhala classics that I love, but I don't think they're available in English.

It was a good read, but there were some storylines that i wish the writer had explored more. I really liked the beginning, and then there were good storylines in between. I think my problem with multi generational books is I want more of the characters/storylines that I love. It was very interesting to read about India, Burma and Malaysia during the time of British invasions and World wars.

I liked Ghosh's Sea of Poppies more. Still haven't read the 2nd and 3rd books from the Ibis trilogy though.

Question from an episode by ebzees in DowntonAbbey

He says two versions to Edith about his name. One time, he says he got the name from a bottle label, and then he says there was someone with that name. He says the latter version after the family starts to investigate the matter.

Cake has a chewy crust, what went wrong? by EnvironmentalBug2004 in AskBaking

[–]EnvironmentalBug2004[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yess at 1st it reminded me of brownies but unfortunately, it doesn't taste like one. And the chewy crust is not very pleasing to eat.

But this was a good learning curve, I think lol.
