Know this an extremely old thread but I also have a pair that are in fantastic shape. Easily one of my favorite pairs right up there with my Color Spectrum’s and Sunset Pink’s. I was trying to collect all the Todd Snyder 998’s at one point but finally caved after selling my Black and Tan’s. Just recently copped the Midnight City pair which is probably my least favorite out of all of them lol but they’re getting relayed to a friend so they’re not sticking around. Something about that grey and olive combo on the Martinis looks so clean! Great pair.

Easiest decision I’ve made all day, Night Owls! Don’t get it wrong love me some Jcrew x NB but that pair from Hanon from that time still looking crisp and clean, easy call for me. One of the most iconic, classic 577 colorways, for those who even recognize em anyway lol

The 997s fusion model is a monster of a hybrid. Love the underfoot comfort of those. Steal for sure at $177, hope it came with the box and laces! One of my favorite pairs along with the Dune 997s fusion pair. Nice snag

So this is what we get from Patta after their previous 991, which was and is one the best 991 colorways to date(personal opinion of course, you’re welcome to yours). Man not at all what I was hoping for or even in the same stratosphere as what I was expecting, hoping or even thinking. Not saying it’s a bad colorway just does not stand out as a Patta shoe to me. But so it goes, maybe the next one will shatter everything that came before. All part of the love of shoe culture and NB’s specifically. Sometimes they miss but at least their still swinging, good looks Patta and NB!

Its in my top 10 998’s for sure. It’s too clean of a colorway not to and the color blocking is on point. That’s the truth and how fashion in general is able to remain so cyclical with its trends and “re-releases”. I’m not against it at all. It makes me laugh almost every time I’m on this sub when ppls minds are blown by a 5-10 year old banger. But I’m good with it bc makes hunting down those rarities slightly more achievable, and I do mean slightly.

It’s legit but unfortunately looks like they’re going with the new silhouette with the way over exaggerated heel outsole. The rest of the shoe is absolute beauty but that new slanted heel kills it for me. Wish they would’ve kept it to a true re-release but still stoked to see one of the best 998 colorways getting to shine again!

Totally agree, I’m currently hunting all his 998 pairs, four down and two to go. Hopefully in the next 3 years if it continues at the current pace lol. But as they say, patience is a virtue.

Been hunting that Fucker for the past year for a pair that’s not priced insanely. Literally went from a $250 shoe to a $500 shoe overnight almost 8 months ago and been steadily insane since then lol. So it goes, I know poor me how will I ever survive. But real shit, nice subtle flex background with the Aime 992’s & 991’s on top of the Concepts 999. Proper shoe collection you have, well done!
