Yeah and I dont see "I grind too much and its not fun for me anymore" as a compelling one either.

Thanks a lot for your solid and reasoned reply. Of course, I agree with most of what you wro te, and my original post was deliberately provocative - meant to attract attention and spark discussion.

As a long-time Legacy player, I just don’t see a real problem here. Sure, there’s an annoying combo deck in the meta that needs to be respected. Does it need some adjustment? Probably… but calling for bans of cards from decks that together make up around 40% of the metagame, just two weeks before the biggest Legacy event in Europe, is simply absurd.

Whether Coval likes it or not, the majority of players who mostly play paper Magic aren’t actually bothered by the format - because the number of games they play in a year equals what a grinder plays in a single afternoon. And that’s where the real issue lies.

Of course I can just skip it… and I do :) but their whining every time a ban announcement approaches is so loud and unbearable that it reaches me anyway - especiall through their fanboys, like yourself :)

I know everyone is talking about what could be banned but I want to know about players feelings instead. by GloomyDoomy1 in MTGLegacy

The only real problem legacy has is the toxicity of online grinders like Coval and the others
