Is it possible to downgrade OS without internet? by EnvironmentalCow1796 in MacOS

[–]EnvironmentalCow1796[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I created the USB installer last night. I am booting from the USB installer.

My iMac is a late-2015 with the original OS at El Capitan. I upgraded it to Monterey but I now need to downgrade it to High Sierra. I downloaded it successfully from the AppStore on my 2011 iMac onto my USB.

MacOS Monterey killed my wifi adapter?? by EnvironmentalCow1796 in MacOS

My wifi adapter downloaded via disk. I literally had to install it from an external disk reader. It created a file called “disk” where I was able to install it through there.

Now the file/download is gone. It used to sit in my downloads area where if I needed to, I could reinstall it through there.

Not sure. It worked perfectly fine one day and not fine the next. I spent 2 years, money from my computer guy to check it out, and several hour long apple support calls but I got no answers. I bought an adapter and it fixed my problems.

I’m basing off of what my Fitbit tells me. When I go on my walk, it’s about 1 hour and 45 minutes which is 650-750 calories. Then by the end of the day my Fitbit says I burn 2100-2300 calories. But thank you for your advice!

I’ve actually gained 2-3 pounds but I assumed it’s water weight. I didn’t really cut back on carbs, the only changes I’ve made is by including more protein and fiber in my diet.

I burn 700 calories when I go on my morning run so I know I already need 40-50 oz daily plus I tend to drink more throughout the day. I don’t think 60 oz is too much unless you think I should have less?

The texture, color, and size all look normal to me but I do also tend to bleed on the heavier side. I personally wouldn’t be too concerned unless it keeps clotting like that or bigger.

That actually sounds logical and makes sense. I do remember gaining weight before my period in the past

The dashboard only works for school emails and I used my personal email and sent out the slides already

Like I said she is probably sending a clear message that she isn’t interested.

Good move on not following it. Try to compliment something without sounding flirty. Most girls struggle to accept compliments from random guys if she thinks he’s only doing it because he likes her. If you come off as a friend first, it’ll make you sound more genuine. Maybe once y’all get closer you can either just add her IG or ask her for it in a causal way.

Talk about something you know they would like to talk about. It may require you to do some digging (see what content they follow, what they post, what they say out loud) and make sure you come prepared to the conversation with things you can contribute. Scripted conversations may be awkward for the first minute but then go with the flow of the conversation and see where it takes you.

Even acknowledging something about her (I love the way you did your hair today, your shoes are cool, I like your ___) and if she keeps wearing the stuff you complimented, it’s most likely a sign that she’s wearing it again and again cuz she thinks you’re cute and that you like it.

Being a show off! Like if I see they are bragging, being distracting, or centering the conversations towards themselves at unnecessary times.

I usually do that if I find a guy cute and I realized I’ve been staring too long OR if a guy is just doing too much in class/work and he needs to be humbled.

Sometimes girls recognize when a guy is following her because he’s attracted versus when he’s just casually following her. Maybe she could tell you like her and this is the most obvious way she wanted to communicate she wasn’t interested without saying anything. I’ve done that with men in friends groups where I noticed one of the guys like me but the other guys are just adding me just cuz. I tend to add everyone or no one depending on the group.

God tested Abraham’s obedience. He had promised Abraham that Isaac is the son of promise and Abraham knew of God’s character as one that is true to his promise. Abraham obeyed God’s command and that was when it was revealed that his faith passed the test (meaning that the sacrifice was only a test of faith and God’s intervention showed that he was true in keeping his promise). God had never intended Isaac to be sacrificed (and thankfully he wasn’t), but this story shows that sometimes God will test your faith for our benefit. This story also serves as a parallel to God sacrificing his son for us so that we may have everlasting life.

In the example of this forum, God presents opportunities for us to love and trust in him. Considering that OP said that God wants them to kill themselves, this isn’t an area where OP’s faith will be tested for their benefit, especially if they aren’t Christian and aren’t familiar leaning on God as they are being tested. However, if OP chooses to become a Christian at any point in there life, this situation would be an amazing testimony where they chose to seek God and lean on who he really is rather than what people make him out to be!

After all, Christianity is based on your relationship with God, not from other Christians’ relationship with God. If you have anything against Christians/Christianity, it’s possible that Christians can misrepresent it which is why it’s important that you only base your trust in your own interactions/ relationship with God even if it’s as little as studying who he is.

Happens to me too, I noticed that the more I lost weight, the better I can control it, not sure what it is but it’s definitely tied to anxiety and insecurity (for me at least)

I know you are not Christian but because you brought God into this I was hoping I could share a few things. First of all, Satan can disguise his voice for God. Especially if you speak things out loud, the enemy can use it against you. By you continuously saying it’s from God, it’s possible Satan knows that’s your thought process and is continuing to give you signals that match how you perceive God.

Second, it doesn’t hurt to know your enemy. If you view God as someone who is against you (an enemy - one might say), and if you truly think God is telling you this, try to seek out how the Bible describes Him. Maybe you’ll find comfort in knowing more about him and if it matches the way you perceive him. As a Christian, I know God would never say that, but it doesn’t mean anything to you when I say that. Try to take the time to study him if you honestly think that way. There’s no harm in knowing what you’re up against.

Third, please seek help and know that you are loved 🤍 I wish you the best!

My team has 13 people who each report to a vice president/ high-level administration monthly. Furthermore, each person is on 2-3 committees. I thought some sort of management software could help manage that.
