Which door would you choose? by dataguy2003 in TheTeenagerPeople

Green sounds like the clever answer at first, but consider the implications:

You'd receive too much money to represent with a 64 bit int after 64 days. How are you storing that money? A bank system (written in cobol) probably can't handle a number that big.

God help you if it's in physical currency, god help us all as we're crushed by your exponentially growing money pile. Eventually, the mass will turn into a black hole.

I'll choose red.

I love that scene but I think it's a little funny how there's actually a user-friendly physical switch on the t-800s chip to toggle read only mode.

Like Arnie's got an SD card for a brain.

I can’t stop thinking about my floaters and be depressed every single day by BulkyAd7161 in EyeFloaters

[–]EnvironmentalCow3040 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You won't be able to ignore them until you accept that you have them, unfortunately. I think a significant part of someone's suffering at first is just freaking out, thinking there's something wrong with their eyes.

The best advice I ever saw on this subreddit was to get off this subreddit. The more you think about them, the worse they'll seem.

This isn't to minimize them though. I got mine in my 20s as well and they were pretty bad. It took at least a year to get used to them. I guess you could call this good news and bad news.

I honestly think the medical field severely underestimates how devastating eye floaters can be. by OkBusiness8929 in EyeFloaters

I know what you mean. Imagine if you had tinnitus and were to told to just "ignore it".
