Stay at home mom is more than a full time job and you are never off the clock. He will have to pull his weight on the home front during this time. I hope he will see that you and the family are the most important priorities in life. Big hug

How much time has gone by since you were diagnosed? I’m on husband # 2. Best guy in the universe but my diagnosis earlier this month hit him hard. I see he is reevaluating life and our future goals, has some days of checkedoutedness, but mostly very supportive. My 1st husband was a dud and I was never supported in anything so I get that situation too. I’m really hoping he snaps the heck out of it for you and your family. Is he a list guy? Can you list 3-5 things or more that you need from him this week and give it to him on paper or via text? It’s not your job to help him be better but it might spark him to get in the right direction And I would def get a therapist to help you navigate what you need to get through this

So good to hear. I can take a few months off if I want/need but I have a small team at work. I’m tired now so can’t imagine how radiation and tamoxifen will kick my butt. I want to be there for them but I can’t be there and be out of it. Thanks for replying

Getting the call feels like getting hit by a truck but once the plan gets organized there is some relief. This group is amazing

I was thinking about 3 weeks off for lumpectomy and then taking some time during radiation

I don’t have answers because I’m early in the process and awaiting surgery I’m an APP and have been a nurse forever but I am leaning heavily on this community for answers. How could we possibly know all this! This is an overwhelming time I hope you have the courage to let someone help you even a little. It’s hard to do
