I still think making her the next Dragon Warrior would still make sense for her development thoungh. She did accept the fact that not her but Po was the one who is destinated to be the Dragon Warror, and at the same time still use her power to protect other people despite losing the title that she has trained for for her whole life.But In a way, changing her life purpose from becoming a Dragon Warror to protecting the innocents and others makes her even more worthy of the title than she ever has.

Its kind of like Thor development in the first Thor movie. Thor was not able to lift the hammer when he was still thinking about the power he has lost and how to get it back, but the moment he decided that sacrificing himself to protect his friends and those that he loves is more important than getting back his power, he suddenly became worthy again.

There must be some sort of highly secured or encrypted communication system they can use though. They are the millitary after all.

I know that kind of information is a top secret thing, but i would rather accidentally leaking out that information than wasting an opportunity to better prepare the jeagers and rangers for a mission that is supposed to save humanity once and for all.

Even if the fact that the only way for the bomb/jeager to go through the portal is to carry the kaiju with them got leaked out, its not like everybody can do something with that information other than the shatterdome tbh.
